Day 11

Time: 6:20 AM

Location: 18th Guard Tower, Fourth Moon Quarter

Darius woke up as he normally did, momentarily forgetting what had happened last night. But all too soon, it came flooding back, and Darius sighed, rubbing his head. All of the sudden, this day had already gotten tiring.

Somehow, he was going to have to tell Ai and Greg about what he had learned, and he'd have to do it in a secret way as to not arose suspicion. As soon as possibly, probably, especially of the UR were planning something and needed their help.

Suddenly, he was startled by an abrupt ringing on his wrist. Darius cringed, flinching away, before quickly bringing his watch up and turning off the alarm. The very new alarm that Darius was certain hadn't been there before.

He gave his screen a searching look, and immediately found the popup covering the screen. Of course. The alarm was from Oraple, telling him he had work in an hour.

Darius sighed, and shut the annoying thing off. If these fourth Moon Quarter technologies were so smart, couldn't it tell he was already awake and not yell at him to get up? Stupid...

He supposed it did serve as a good reminder, though, as he forced himself out of bed and towards his door. Just like the night before, he made his way down to the kitchen, keeping a careful eye out on the walls and such, looking out for secret cameras that might be hidden in the corners and along the walls. More than once, he thought he saw a speck of black that could be something, a camera or dirt of whatever... but he didn't stop to check them out. Didn't want to tip the people watching off, after all.

When he got to the kitchen, he saw it was empty. Apparently either Greg and Ai weren't up yet, or they haven't come down yet. Either way, Darius had the kitchen along right now. Might as well not waste it.

Slowly raising his head, Darius slowly stretched out his arms and his back, both to try and wake up more, and to slowly look over the rest of the kitchen without suspicion. If he was right about his earlier suspicions, about the black specs, then there were at least six cameras around the walls in front of him, and about four behind the kitchen counter. That was... an insane amount of security, and it made Darius nervous, even without what he was planning to do. Trying to do anything here would be a risk... but technically, his entire existence here, as the 'Survivor of the Third Moon Quarter' was a risk, so... whatever. Any other steps he took couldn't possibly be worse.

Not that Darius had any idea what risk he was actually going to take yet. He didn't want to be too obvious, but Ai didn't know about the camera's and how much trouble they were going to be in if they were caught... anything he did would have to be obvious to Ai but not to the people watching.

Hm. This was going to be difficult. Darius shook his head, and moved to the cupboard, opening it up. Yesterday, they had oatmeal for breakfast, so perhaps cereal would be nice for today. Maybe tomorrow they would have bacon and eggs or something. And after that, who knew...? Man, cooking for himself and being forced to decide what to eat everyday still sucked, even if he had way more choice than he ever did in Jurassic World.

Darius ran his hands over the five cereal boxes squished together in the cupboard, trying to decide which one to take on name along as he had no idea what they were. Some of them vaguely reminded him off the boxes at home, but they were slightly off...

Like, 'Wheat Crispies'? 'Captain Snaps Snappies'? 'Chocolate Sphere's'? Darius knew this was another dimension and all, but these names sucked. They'd be the type of names he would see in the store, and then practically become physically adverse to. Like, seriously? It was almost impressive how bad these names were.
