"Is this seriously necessary?" I questioned with a jaw-dropped expression placed upon my features as I sat beside Sarah when I saw my friends practically make a shrine for the spirit stick on the table that stood beside Carson's bed.

"Seriously, I mean I get we gotta give props to the spirits, but isn't this a little extreme?" Sarah voiced turning herself over from where she laid on Carson's bed so she was now resting on her stomach.

"You know how nasty some cheerleaders can be when they're alive. Do you really want to risk the dead ones hating on you?" Carson reminded glancing at us causing Sarah to get up with a grin. She began to pull things off of the table.

"Then let's do this right. Look, off..." Sarah instructed making Ruben walk to the side to stand beside me. "Fire, water, Earth, air, spirit stick." She began placing each item onto a corner with the spirit stick in the middle before reaching for the pin on her top. "You know what this really needs to pop? The blood of a virgin."

We all turned our heads towards my sister as she looked at each of us astonished. "Okay. Why are you guys looking at me?"

"Come on, Carson. Just a little pin prick..." Sarah pouted mockingly as if that would convince her. Ruben smirked before leaning towards Ayesha, "If she can take a little prick, then she wouldn't be a virgin." I laughed at his statement with a snort making them two laugh harder than they already were due to the noise.

"You coming?" Ruben asked to Ayesha who said she would but was stopped by Sarah and I.

"Where?" We spoke in unison stopping the two from making any type of movement if they decided to leave without answering. "You wouldn't be into it. Cheer poker with the Prairie Dogs." Ruben responded putting his arms up to mimic what he believed prairie dog looked like.

"No thanks." I replied nodding at his statement that I wouldn't be into it. "What's the buy-in?" Sarah nodded with narrowed eyes as Ayesha rolled her eyes with a playful gleam.

"Sarah, this is cheer poker."

"Sounds like easy pickings." Sarah shrugged pulling the two with her before looking back at the spirit stick. "Wait. Who's gonna guard the spirit?"

We all tried to avoid eye contact with Carson as she beamed with a look of reassurance waving us off. "You know what? You guys go. I'm captain, I'll do stick duty." The three nodded their heads before walking away as they said their thanks. I looked to my sister helping her close the curtains before she threw herself back on the bed.

"I support you." I started lifting a hand up teasingly with a laugh watching as she lifted her head to look at me, "If you end up dating Penn or starting anything, I'll be supportive even if some others might not."

Carson looked up at the ceiling as if pondering over her thoughts before she got up and gave me a hug, "Thanks. I support you too by the way..."

Giving her an incredulous look, I giggled softly when she started laughing as well, pushing her shoulders away before walking towards the door, "Well I'll be at Mel's Drive Inn Restaurant because I'm starving. Text me if you need anything?" I knew that Carson probably knew of the sexuality that I associated myself as since Ruben and I usually were loud with our conversations around the team so I'm sure that most of them just waited for me to actually confirm it.

She nodded once more, and I walked towards the restaurant unsure of all of the chaos that would soon erupt later that night.

Walking into the restaurant, I sat alone on a booth where no one seemed to be around not realizing that a certain Jet had seen me walk in alone. I was eating when I heard the familiar voice behind me. "So, how's it going Cinderella?"

"Hi Brooke." I greeted with a deadpanned look, sighing when she decided to sit across from me. "What are you doing here? Won't your team bust your balls for you talking to me?"

"They think I'm purposely smack talking you right now, I even got Chelsea a milkshake so she wouldn't follow me." Brooke shrugged before smiling to herself proudly. "You said if I was a little more sincere then we could genuinely talk right?"

Nodding at her question, Brooke placed her hands over the table and clasped them together. She glanced around almost unsure of what to say next causing me to snicker and for her to narrow her eyes. "What?"

"You really are thinking about it too hard. Just relax." She did as I said an exhaled a breath before leaning back into her seat a bit.

"So, Carson Jr. what's the latest news?"

"Don't call me that ever again." I comment with a groan making her laugh when she saw me point my fork in her direction. She held her hands up in surrender before placing them back down in front of her.

"Noted. Why are you alone then?"

"I was the only one that wanted to eat, some of the others decided to play cheer-poker." I confessed offering her some of my fries when I saw her looking at my plate. She grabbed a few hesitating a bit before eating them. "How have you been since the whole fiasco of my sister and Penn?"

"What do you mean?" Brooke inquired, eyebrows pinched together.

"I know you like him. At least I think you do and that's why you've been reacting this certain way whenever you see them together." I shrugged, eyes shifting over to my drink before taking a sip out of it.

Her lips parted, stuttering, having no idea what to say other than the truth. "I-I do not like him. I mean I did, but not anymore. Truthfully, and I will end you if you tell anyone, but I'm confused. I don't really know where I stand."

I shook off her odd behavior. "It's okay to be confused, I mean I'm a raging lesbian so I was confused for a while before too."

"So what should I do then?"

"Take it day by day. I'm sure the answers to questions you have will turn up soon," I said with a grin making her reciprocate it softly. Staring at each with soft gazes we hadn't noticed that Chelsea was approaching until Brooke glanced up and saw her. Brooke hardened her look towards me just as her friend came up.

"Brooke look!" Chelsea hastily pointed before Brooke got up and pulled her along. I looked at the screen and squinted my eyes before running out of the restaurant as well when realizing that Penn and my sister were dancing together when she was supposed to be guarding the spirit stick.

I waited for a few moments after the Jets left and stood behind Penn before making my way out of the restaurant. Making my way towards Sarah, I saw the team giving me looks of confusion before I pointed to the restaurant causing them to nod.

"How can I trust someone who lies to his own team?" Carson exclaimed before looking at the Jets, "You know, he didn't need you guys to raise money for the trip. He was just too scared to tell his dad about Cheer Camp."

"She's a liar, right Penn?" Brooke asked stunned at Carson said.

"No, Brooke. I should have just believed you when you said Sharks and Jets were sworn enemies. Now I know why. You showed your true colors, didn't you?" Penn sighed as my sister shrugged with a smug smile.

"And you showed you're just a Jet."
