"Let's go Shets!" We chanted as we clapped continuing to celebrate our victory. "Let's go Shets!" We continued to chant with everyone wearing large smiles. Carson was up front with Penn who would twirl her around as she continued to laugh just as Ayesha tried to get him to stop because one in a while, Carson seemed as if she would throw up in response.

Brooke moved towards where I stood and let a large smile etch onto her features as she talked, "We should totally celebrate!"

"Would you like to go on a date?" I asked smiling as I watched her eyes continue to widen in realization.

Brooke nodded in happiness, "Could we actually watch a movie?" She questioned with her tone a bit hesitant as I thought about it.

I pressed a kiss to her temple before replying, "We could do whatever you'd like. I'll meet you back here in half an hour?" I watched as she nodded at the offer before we both headed our separate directions to start getting dressed for our date instead of wearing the cheer uniforms as we would go out.

Walking into the shared room with Sarah, I noticed that she was sat with Ruben and a few other members from the Shets and other teams while playing cheer poker. I greeted them before heading into the bathroom to get dressed.

"Where are you going all dolled up?" Ruben questioned as he stood up from his seat with Sarah following behind them as I started to head to the door to exit.

With a hand on the knob, I turned to him before starting to talk, "On a date." I said simply with a small grin threatening to show as Sarah furrowed her brows in response.

"She better not hurt you." Sarah threatened with a finger pointed in my direction as Ruben ruffled her hair causing her to swat his hand away with a suppressed smile.

Ruben laughed, "Chill Sarah... I'm sure Grace knows that we'd do something if Brooke treats her wrong so there's no need to warn her." I raised a brow watching as he continued with a smile, "Isn't that right Grace?"

"Whatever..." I rolled my eyes but noticed them still staring as if they awaited for an actual answer. Laughing, I rubbed a hand over my face, "Yes... I'm aware of how protective we all are over each other."

Sarah nodded in relief while Ruben sent a thumbs up towards me. "Good! Now you can head out, don't be out too late!" Ruben said in a stern tone as I scoffed with a smile.

I walk out of the room before heading down the hallway hoping that we'd enjoy the film for the night. Sometimes I tended to become bored with specific films so I just hoped that it wouldn't occur this time so I wouldn't disappoint Brooke.

Before I could turn the corner that'll lead me to Brooke, I was stopped with Chelsea standing in front of the path that I was attempting to take. "Hi Grace!" Chelsea smiled as she eyed me.

I tilted my head curiously before responding politely, "Hey Chelsea? What's up?" I watched as she bounced on her heels and continued to smile before her mouth made an "o" as if she was suddenly aware of what was happening around her.

Chelsea took a piece of her hair between her fingers and started to twirl it around as she started to bat her eyelashes at me. "I was wondering if you'd want to go out with me sometime?" She asked as I looked at her confused.

"I thought you liked Ruben?" I retracted.

Chelsea waved the statement off with a bit of a forced and bitter laugh, "He likes Sarah."

Nodding slowly, I watched as she hummed before continuing to stare as if she seriously wanted an answer. "Oh! I'm sorry Chelsea... I'm into Brooke, you know that."

Chelsea scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest as if suddenly embarrassed, "Whatever." She let a sly smirk fall over her features as she tried to step closer only for me to step back as she did so, "If you ever get bored, I'm here."

Opening my mouth to respond, a familiar voice beat me to it sounding extremely irritated, "Well that's not happening!"

I turned and watched as Brooke stalked forward and grabbed a hold of my hand before hitting Chelsea on the shoulder with her own as we walked away from her.

Brooke and I walked into the theatre and as we found our seats, I proceeded to ask, "I'm sorry that you had to hear that. I hope I didn't offend you with anything that I said?"

"No Grace, I'm sorry that Chelsea behaved in that manner.." Brooke rebutted with a sigh as she leaned her head on my shoulder for a moment before pressing a kiss to it, lifting her head to look at me instead.

I ignored the film across and stared at her in response. There was a silence for a second before we both began to lean in, her wrapping her arms around my neck. I was grateful for our seats in the back, especially with no one else around us.

Our lips soon connect and as it started out soft with a bit of hesitation, it soon started turning more heated and confident.

The sound of something hitting the ground caused us to pull apart, as we both turned to the popcorn that must've fell from her lap.

I laughed softly as I watched her smile a bit nervous before placing a small but rapid peck to her lips. Brooke smiled happily as she pulled me back in so that she could continue to kiss me causing laughter to emit out of the both of us, ignoring the few people that gave out bewildered looks at the laughter that had been heard.
