"Dork!" I laughed as Laenor attempted to lift a weight that was obviously just too heavy for him causing it to fall near Courtney's foot who jumped in surprise.
Whitney narrowed her eyes, letting out a scoff, "We would have had major problems if that would've landed on her foot." Courtney nodded from beside her causing Laenor and I to share a glance and laugh once more stifling it once we noticed their stare.
Our attention was drifted to Missy who walked in with Nicolas after her, as she walked towards Torrance with a determined stride.
"UCA just posted the Nationals list on the Internet.." Missy started before placing a hand on her hip with a frustrated look in her eyes, "East Compton isn't on it."
I moved forward a bit with a confused look, "Seriously?"
"Yeah," Nicolas nodded with a shrug as I laughed when I noticed his expression of insistence over the topic as well.
Missy sighed a bit irritated, "They couldn't raise the money in time. They're not going."
"What do you mean that they're not going?" Torrance pushed with an expression of stress beginning to show over her.
Nicolas tilted his head seeming a bit lost, "She means that the team isn't going to Nationals? I think we all got that but you Torr..."
Stifling his laughter, Jan rubbed a hand over his face with a grin, "Torrance, that's good news."
I moved around so I stand behind Jan and listen in more closely with Laenor following soon after. I was able to notice just how stressed out Torrance was getting and as well just how much lack of care the other members of the team withheld.
