Apparently, Torrance convinced Missy to join since she sat on a chair watching us practice a chant for the games so she could learn them. "Ready, girls?" Torrance asked as we all got into formation. She then turned around and started to clap as we did the routine and chant.

"I said brr, It's cold in here! I said there must be some Toros in the atmosphere! I said brr, It's cold in here! I said there must be some Toros in the atmosphere! I said oh-ee, oh-ee, oh, Ice, ice, ice, oh-ee, oh-ee, oh, Ice, ice, ice," We chanted in unison doing the routine that Big Red taught and left for us to traditionally continue.

Torrance smiled and called out, "Here we go girls!" We started to practice the routine furthermore, but something seemed to have upset Missy as she left and in a hurry with a prominent frown etched on her features.

"Hey! Practice isn't over yet. Where are you going?" Sebastian called out but was ignored as Missy opened the door and walked out.

Courtney and Whitney moved from their positions and stepped up as one was on each side of Torrance as they seemed about ready to tease her, "Nice recruit, Torrance. A real captain would've seen what I saw, a big dykey loser."

Whitney nodded at Courtney's words before adding, "I'd say that's strike two."

Torrance assigned for Les to continue with watching over us so we could practice while she went after Missy hoping to bring her back to the team so we could all practice with her again. I felt a hand against the lower of my back causing me to turn and notice Jan standing beside me.

"Do you actually think she'll bring Missy back?" Jan asked as I shrugged in response.

I furrowed my brows before tilting my head curiously, "Actually, I think just might. But I don't think that it'll be today."

"That's true," Jan nodded before he looked at me curiously, "Where's Nicolas?"

I rubbed a hand under my chin as I rose a brow, "He said he had to work on an assignment with Cliff and that it was super important. Whatever the hell that meant." I then shrugged looking at Jan.

Jan opened his mouth to respond before Courtney called for his attention as he mumbled out an apology and ran towards her as they both ran off somewhere. I narrowed my eyes at their retreating figures before turning my attention to Laenor who was sitting by the treadmill almost as if unsure of what to do as he looked around.

I walked up to him before hitting his shoulder softly, "What 'cha doing?" I said in a teasing tone.

"Nothing. I'm just confused on how Torrance wants us to practice but we don't know exactly what we're supposed to practice." Laenor said with a small sigh. I hummed at that watching as he widened his eyes before shaking his hands out in front of him as he tried to stop me from saying something, "Sorry! I didn't mean to dampen your mood."

Shaking my head with a grin, I let a small laugh fall before speaking, "It didn't trust me. You don't have to worry about that when you speak to me."

"Yeah, but the rambling seemed like too much," He said softly as I turned to look at him.

Playing with the hem of my shirt, I shrugged confused, "I think the rambling is kind of cute."

Laenor laughed in surprise before reaching a shaky hand over and grabbing a hold of it as he laced our fingers together. I looked up from where I was staring at the ground after I said that statement and looked at him as he wore a small smile causing me to reciprocate the action.

"Look, our hands fit together." He said with a grin on his lips as he lifted our hands slightly.

I looked away from him with a giddy smile appearing on my lips as I proceeded to give his hand a small squeeze. I could see Les giving me a look as he stood across the room as he then wiggled his brows making me laugh as I flipped him off with my free hand.

"Don't you need your hand to practice?" I mumbled as I looked back at Laenor who was starting to play with my hand, I didn't want to be the one to pull away which explained why I decided to be the one to ask him.

He shrugged but shook his head with a fond smile, "Nah... I can work with one. Plus, I would much rather stay seated here beside you than actually practice right now." I didn't say anything letting him continue, "And if you think about it, no one else besides Les wants to practice as well. I mean, don't you see that everyone is seriously in their own world?"

I took the chance to look around and everyone was in their own bubble making conversations with one another and Les was the only standing trying to convince a few sitting near him to stand up and get into formation so we could actually practice. Whitney and Darcy were the only ones who listened to him, but they were just messing around every time he turned away from the two.

"I don't think Torrance is coming back," I said as I watched Les pace around before pointing to the clock on the wall that proved that it had already been an hour of practice and Torrance nor Missy had returned.

Les scratched the edge of his jaw as he sighed before catching everyone's attention, "We'll just end practice early you guys." Whitney was the first to leave with her dragging Courtney out from Jan's hold from her sitting on his lap.

"Let's go dork." I laughed letting Les yank me up from my seat as we walked out of the gymnasium looking like two giggling schoolgirls.
