(Y/N) remained as calm as possible. "What shadow?" (Y/N) asked. "I could've sworn I just saw something fly pass that tree over there!" Saoirse whispered and pointed her finger towards it. "Really? I don't see anything." (Y/N) said. "But there was something! You just missed it by a glimpse!" Saoirse added. "Saoirse, if this is a trick, it's not funny. You know how much I don't like creepy woods myself." (Y/N) said quietly. "Swear! I am not tricking you. I saw it flash by!" Saoirse exclaimed. "Saoirse, look, listen. It's probably your head playing tricks on you. Calm down." (Y/N) tried your best to reassure her. "But I DID see something go pass that tree!" Saoirse whispered loudly.
*sigh* "Just stay really close. I'm sure we'll be fine." (Y/N) said. "Well you've changed your tone. Earlier, you were telling me how frightened you were." Saoirse said quietly. "Well, that's because I've had to pull myself together. And so should you." (Y/N) instructed her. "erm.. ok... ok... pull myself together... just pull myself together..." Saoirse talked to yourself and tried to put on a brave face even though it was clearly dissipating. It's not like her to suddenly get scared, usually she's the one who's really good at coping with stressful situations.
Suddenly...
a massive branch snapped from the tree and fell onto the path just inches behind them. "FUCKING HELL!" (Y/N) shouted anxiously. "Well, there's no way going back out through that wy again. It's covered with thorns and hollies. Fuck that." Saoirse said. "OH FUCK ME! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE BEEN SO STUPID!" (Y/N) shouted. "What? What's the matter?" Saoirse asked. "WE SHOULD'VE JUST WALKED BACK THE WAY WE CAME FROM! AND NOW IT'S BLOCKED, WHAT A FUCKING HELL HOLE!" (Y/N) added angrily. "Could we not maybe try working our way around the log you think?" Saoirse suggested. (Y/N) took a couple of deep breaths and calmed down. "Alright. Alright. Just ignore me. I' just feeling a little..." (Y/N) were about to speak. "Overwhelmed? I know how you feel. Come here." Saoirse said and offered a hug. (Y/N) walked over to Saoirse and walked in for a cuddle.
