~2 and a half hours later~

(Y/N) managed to calm Jennie down. The police know what they're doing. They should be able to find Thomas in no time. *sniff* "sorry. I know i'm useless at the minute." Jennie broke the silence. "Hey, listen. You're NOT useless. you're just processing things. That's normal." (Y/N) said. "I shouldn't have let him go, what on earth was I thinking?" Jennie asked herself. "Now, now. Don't work yourself up." (Y/N) encouraged. "But he's my son! What am I supposed to do?" Jennie snapped.

*gulp*

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to take it out on you." Jennie apologised. *sigh* "I know that. The police is looking every nook and cranny to find him, but i must admit myself that I've seen something, much worse." (Y/N) confessed. "What?" Jennie asked surprisingly. "I was going to tell you over the phone, until you told me about Thomas. I didn't want to intertwine with my story of events." (Y/N) spoke. Jennie gulped with fear and guilt. "I'm sorry having to put you through what I just told you." Jennie said. "No no, don't apologise, it's not your fault." (Y/N) said.

"So. tell me. What's going on?" Jennie asked.

*sighs exhaustedly* "This all started when I was planning to go out for my walk. Loggy Woods." (Y/N) answered. "Loggy Woods? Seriously?" Jennie looked shocked. "Erm... yeah. Then thats when... Saoirse... our friend texted." "Yeah? What's up with her?" Jennie asked. "She... she wanted to check up. Nothing going on with her. Told her I was going out for a walk and invited her to come along." (Y/N) explained.

"Yeah, that was the same day after you returned home from staying overnight at mine?" Jennie asked. "Correct." (Y/N) replied and continued on: "We arranged to meet up outside the entrance to the trail. I was the first to arrive, with Saoirse a couple of minutes later." "You would think she would've got there first, wouldn't you? After all, she lives close to the woods itself!" Jennie thought. "She was likely getting changed at the time she was texting. But anyway. We met up and then we started our hike." (Y/N) replied.

"Yes? Go on." Jennie spoke. "We initially were heading through the narrow pathway that would eventually take us further in." (Y/N) said. "This was in the afternoon, bear that in mind." (Y/N) added. "Why?" Jennie asked.

"Proceeding further down, we were talking about stuff, you know, how was work doing? things like that. Oh! by the way, she didn't tell you she got a new job, right?" (Y/N) asked. "No, she did not. I hadn't heard from her in the last couple of weeks." Jennie replied. "She was about to start at this new toy factory called, "Neo's".  Said she became tired of her old job." (Y/N) replied.

"Anyway. We headed down further into the woods, but it was not until later at this stage we realised we'd taken the wrong direction." (Y/N) replied. "Oh Gosh... how did you manage to get your way back out?" Jennie asked.

"Unfortunately... it was only me who managed to evacuate the woods." (Y/N) said. "Evacuate? What the heck? Then... then what happened to Saoirse? Where did she go?" Jennie asked. "Initially, she was beginning to express... safety concerns after she allegedly spotted 'a shadow' fly pass a tree." (Y/N) told Jennie. "A shadow? Wasn't she not just losing her mind?" Jennie asked. "You see, initially, I strongly believed she was trying to trick me." (Y/N) exclaimed. "But... this turns out not to be the case." (Y/N) added.

"What did she see?" Jennie asked.

*sighs nervously* "We spotted this... this thing." (Y/N) explained. "huh?" Jennie asked, sounding confused. *gulp* "How do I best describe it?" (Y/N) muttered to yourself. This then took a while for you to picture your mind together. It was kind of foggy to try and recollect the horror that unfolded in the aftermath. "There was this... *ahem!* Giant fuzzy monkey like creature. It was lurking in the woods for quite a considerable amount of time." (Y/N) explained.

"erm..." Jennie struggled. "I remember she... gave me a hug. And then the next thing was... her screaming in agony." (Y/N) exclaimed. "Agony?" Jennie asked nervously. "She then... collapsed to the floor... and then there it was. The creature." "What the... What the fuck?" Jennie spoke. "It's gruesome sharp rows of teeth then devoured onto Saoirse's flesh. It teared away at her many body cells, squished up her liver and bladder into pieces--"

"stop." Jennie ordered. "Wh... What? What's wrong?" (Y/N) asked. "Hold on. Hold on. You said something about... big massive thing eating Saoirse alive?" Jennie asked. (Y/N) then realised what Jennie was anticipating. "No, no, Jennie, you can't think that. Thomas is a smart lad. There's no way he would've just run into that thing. Infact, haven't you ever considered phoning up his friends' parents? Maybe he's having a sleepover somewhere?" (Y/N) suggested. "No. Because when they heard my son was reported missing, they volunteered to help. They'd searched the park, the beach, the hills, just like the police and everyone else, they'd searched EVERYWHERE." Jennie replied.
