It was about 05:13 in the morning when you arrived into a small hometown on the outskirts of the forest behind. Settled in the middle of a valley dominated by colossus summits surrounding the woods. Many of these houses you spotted didn't look exactly friendly or welcoming. They look abandoned, but there's still people living in there. There were weeds practically growing out from the side of the walls. Some peoples' roofs appears to be missing slates, as in, roof slates, and some look shattered, as though they're preparing to retire. Their windows weren't so clean either, huge clusters of dust and other types of powder related subjects gathered on the window. Suspiciously, they don't look to disappear which is strange in itself. You'd think it would evaporate eventually, surely. Or... maybe it's just because you've literally been here 2 minutes and haven't given them a chance. But the outside of them remains noticeable. Not recommended renting out, you thought to yourself and proceeded onwards.
Shortly, you reached a site of what appears to be some sort of B&B just ahead of you to the right. Turning on your indicator, you slowly pulled in to a local car park just outside the house and pulled to a gradual stop. There was no clear lines of where to park or what rows are there. It was simply just an empty, concrete square. You gulped as you then realized the state and condition of the house that it was in. From the window, you can instantly see hanging pieces of cobwebs in the corners of the windows. Some of the windows appear to be broken too, as you can clearly see cracks forming in some areas of the pane. Also to mention, the walls were in a complete wreck. Some of the bricks didn't even look right, there was this strange mix between rocks and brick material, making the appearance look rough and claustrophobic.
either way, for whatever reason, seeking to explore has suddenly piqued your curiosity. "Wonder if there's a way in?" (Y/N) asked. "What? You serious?!" Jennie exclaimed. "That place looks creepy as hell!" she added. "I'm only curious. There's no harm in that, is there?" (Y/N) asked. "Curiosity is the peoples' downfall." Jennie added. "How about you stay here, then? You don't have to come with me." (Y/N) said as you were about to emerge from the car. "(Y/N)!" Jennie exclaimed as she grabbed you by the shoulder. "What?" (Y/N) asked.
"I wouldn't if I were you." Jennie murmured suspiciously.
(Y/N) paused for a moment before coming up with something. "Seriously. What's up with you? Why aren't you keen on looking inside the house?" (Y/N) asked. Noticeably, Jennie didn't answer instantly. Her face looked pale white as much as to depict of a piece of knowledge that she's hiding. (Y/N) then noticed that Jennie was breathing rapidly, almost as though she's having a panic attack. "You're hiding something from me, aren't you?" (Y/N) asked. Jennie looked puzzled and confused. "You know something about this place yourself, don't you?" "no, no, that's insane." Jennie replied. "Yeah? Well. Rather than hiding out here, come inside with me!" (Y/N) exclaimed and got up out of the car. Jennie sighed gruntly and followed (Y/N) inside.
