Jennie was going through a hectic amount of pain. The devastating loss of her son is clearly having an impact. What makes it even worse is the fact he wasn't killed under normal circumstances. That's the element that's taking a toll the most. Ultimately, that's the cost of a beloved someone's death. It consumes your moral wellbeing and deprives you of your sense of hope, certainty and leaves you completely blank, asking yourself endless questions time, and time again.

"I'm sorry I snapped, (Y/N)." Jennie spoke. (Y/N) came over to her and you gave her a big hug. Jennie was all over the place. The fact that Thomas just vanished and that he was only to be found dead underground. Inconceivable.

"WHY?! WHY HIM? WHY HIM WHY HIM WHY HIM?!" Jennie screamed as loud as she possibly could and hit her fists against the ground. Her tears dripped from her cheeks and landed onto the cold, soggy ground beneath.
