After quite some time in the bath, Jennie showed herself coming down the stairs. "Well? Did you have a nice bath?" (Y/N) asked. "My Gosh. That was lovely. Thank you very much." Jennie replied. "You don't need to thank me. You needed it." (Y/N) spoke. "Yes, well, I suppose that's true." Jennie said and went to sit down.
"Oh. I made you a cup of coffee if that's alright with you." (Y/N) offered. "Aw, (Y/N). You're too kind. I owe you one." Jennie added. "No you don't. It's fine. Happy to help." (Y/N) said and turned on the telly. "What do you fancy watching?" (Y/N) asked. "To be honest with you, I'm a bit tired. you know. With Thomas, you know. I think I'm gonna go to sleep." Jennie said. "That's alright. Take my bed." (Y/N) suggested. "No thank you. I'm fine sleeping on the sofa." Jennie insisted. "No. Take mine. I'll sleep in the spare room." (Y/N) offered. "No, no. I'll be grand." Jennie spoke. "Do I have to drag you u the stairs? I'm not having you sleep down here alone." (Y/N) insisted. "Swear, I'll be fine." Jennie told (Y/N). "You want to share the bed with me? Will that not be better? Given you're still processing the whole... missing incident?" (Y/N) asked. *sigh* "You know what? If it keeps you happy, then yes." Jennie replied. "Good." (Y/N) spoke.
Shortly after Jennie went up, (Y/N) went around the house to check everything was in order. Doors locked, curtains closed, lights off, all that stuff. You inspected the kitchen only to see the switch of the kettle plugged in at the socket was still switched on. "Darn, almost forgot." (Y/N) muttered to yourself. You headed over to and turned off the switch and unplugged from the socket. "Right. That should be everything." (Y/N) said and headed over to the staircase. You looked around the room just before heading up. Smiling to yourself, you ascended up the stairs as gradual and as silent as possible. You opened the bedroom door as slow as you could, and then you can see Jennie fast asleep, almost instantly. (Y/N) smiled and changed into your pajamas'. You took great care getting into bed, not wanting to interrupt Jennie. The poor woman. Not knowing where her son went. Must be awful. Well. You know what it feels like. You still have heard no word from Leah.
Let's not try to think about it. Let's try and get some sleep. You thought to yourself mentally and eventually laid down...
But you had no idea that late that night, just outside, a certain visitor was standing proud outside your door...
