Leah was up a long time before her girlfriend.
her back was to the counter with a coffee in her hand, although it had not been touched and began to go cold.
the blonde has become so zoned out she didn't see the kitchen light turn on or hear the patter of footsteps getting closer to her.
it wasn't until she felt hands grab the mug she once held that she flinched slightly.
"what are you doing down here?" liv spoke quietly in order not to frighten Leah more.
"thinking that's all."
Olivia didn't speak again she only grabbed her girlfriend's hands and led her to the dining table. the brunette sat down on one of the chairs and pulled Leah to sit onto her lap.
"talk to me" liv said as she rested her chin on Leah's shoulder.
"i don't know how." Leah spoke so delicately.
"take your time i'm not going anywhere" Olivia said as she ran her fingers softly down the blondes arm. "we have all the time in the world."
Leah finally relaxed back into her girlfriend and took a deep breath.
"i went to the doctors the other day" this made liv take in a sharp intake of breath.
"i found out- uhm" leah began to get choked up, her tears hit liv's arm which made the brunette only hold her closer.
"i was told i have endometriosis" once leah had spoke it out in the open it was almost not as scary.
the one person she was nervous about telling finally knew and she felt lighter.
"why were you so scared of telling me le?"
"i don't know, it seems silly now. i know you wouldn't of thought of me differently but i guess just speaking it out in the open only makes it that little more real."
as much as liv wants to be upset by Leah not telling her, she knows she can't be. Leah is a private person and sometimes she just needs that time to think about situations herself before letting someone else know.
"i still love you as much as i did before you told me, my love for you Leah Williamson will never change."
Leah filled Olivia in on some information of her diagnosis and certain things the blonde thought she should know, that's all they did until the sun rose.
"come on you let's go back to bed for a few hours." liv spoke as her and Leah walked to the bedroom hand in hand.
moments like these made Leah realise how much she doesn't want to be apart from her girlfriend, she wants this all the time.
she wants to have Olivia by her side every morning, she wants to have those silly arguments as they're both brushing their teeth, she wants to see liv's things just lying around whenever she walks in from training.
the blonde knew this couldn't happen just yet, Olivia couldn't afford to move her hairdressing around once more and they had only been together for a couple of months , it was a silly thought.
but it was a thought that Leah couldn't wait to come true
