the lionesses had just played their last game for 2022. Leah and Olivia were sat watching on the tv cuddled together.

after the new report came out the couple were closer than ever, but then liv found out Leah had decided to take it into her own hands and talk to ebony herself.

flashback!

Leah knocked on the door heavily, huffing out of impatience. she had knocked at least 5 times and still no answer, thankfully just as she was about to knock again the hallway light came on and keys were heard.

once ebony opened the door her face dropped. although Leah stayed emotionless on the outside she was smirking to herself on the inside.

"i don't know why your so surprised surely you knew that no one was going to let you spread shit about Olivia without a consequence." Leah laughed unamused

"what i said was all true, she did have an argument with Luke and she did tell him to never come back." ebony spoke back, almost trying to make herself believe what she did was right.

"the whole nation didn't have to know, if Olivia wasn't my girlfriend and the same situation happened you wouldn't of gone to the media and said what you did. i know why you did it, you want fame, you want everyone to know who you are. you want what Olivia has and your not going to get it." leah had never spoken so harshly before. she had prided in being a welcoming and cheerful person but when it comes down to the women she is madly in love with she is willing to put that aside.

"she knew i wanted you, she knew that i was basically in love with you yet she still got with you. i pretended to be happy but when i saw pictures of the both of you in magazines and all over social media i crumbled and got angry. but when you two got into an argument i though you would finally be done but no, you both sorted it out and it hurt me. she hurt me before i hurt her." Leah was in shock. she was so mind blown from how crazy ebony was sounding, it was starting to scare her.

"look your out of your mind right now, leave Olivia alone and definitely leave me alone." Leah couldn't be there any longer and with those last words she walked away and back into her car.

once she plonked down into the seat, she threw her head back and loudly screamed.

Leah had never been more angry in her life.

on her drive back home she was silent, no radio. she was just sat in complete silence almost reflecting on the whole situation that just happened.

when Leah got back home she sneaked in quietly thinking liv would've still been asleep, but when she turned the living room light on and Olivia was sat on the sofa just staring at her she jumped backwards.

"what are you doing up ollie?" Leah said hoping to avoid the obvious questions.

"well i woke up hoping to see you next to me but you were gone." liv said expectingly.

"i just went out for a little bit that's all, i went round to the girls just to tell them we weren't going to be able to make it." Leah quickly came up with a lie that was hopefully believable.

"don't lie to me Leah." liv said as she shook her head.

"i'm not-" Leah quickly got cut off. "you are, i called your mum to see if she knew where you were. she didn't, then for some reason i had gotten a call from luce."

"do you know what she said Leah?"  the blonde didn't reply, trying to distract herself with the rings on her fingers.

"she said that you were on your way to Manchester to talk to ebony. you drove all the way to fucking Manchester Leah, i didn't want you to do that. all i wanted was to wake up and you be by my side, instead i woke up alone in a quiet house, alone with my thoughts." liv was angry, angrier than Leah had ever seen her but she understood why. Leah was in the wrong and she acted irrationally.

"ollie i'm so sorry, i just wanted to help. i couldn't bare knowing that she wouldn't have any sort of repercussions from what she did. i think i did it for my own peace of mind, i needed to know that someone told her how awful her actions were and how she really needs to sort herself out."

now Olivia felt bad. she knew Leah's intentions were coming from a good place.

"i know i'm sorry for getting mad, no one would've done that for me before you and i'm thankful." Olivia said as she stood up and brought Leah into a hug.

"come on let's go to bed." leah said as she picked up her girlfriend and hauled her over her shoulder, which made liv laugh loudly.

flashback over!

"they aren't going to be happy with that." Leah spoke as the match finished.

"at least it wasn't a loss, your still yet to lose a game. it was a good way to end the year." liv said, she knew she wouldn't understand how it feels to not win a game but she would rather her girlfriend to stay positive it has been an amazing year for lionesses and women's football in general. she just wanted her to focus on that.

"yeah i know, i'm sure i will get a call in a minute."Leah laughs.

almost as if the girls had heard her the blondes phone rang.

Leah accepted and somehow they managed to fit all the girls on one screen.

"well done, i'm really proud of you all. i wish i could be there with you to celebrate but incredible year girls and i love you all and miss you so much." Leah spoke.

"thank you lee, we miss you more." Keira says.

"please tell me liv is with you." Beth says which makes both girls laugh.

"don't be stupid course she is." Leah spoke before pulling her girlfriend into the view of the other girls. the girls all cheer which makes liv giggle before waving to them all.

"i miss you." Beth pouts which makes Leah roll her eyes.

"we'll hurry up back and come see us." liv jokes.

"well done tonight though, i'm very proud of you all." liv spoke, she was proud of them all even the younger players she hadn't gotten the chance to meet yet. the whole team had performed amazing with the loss of so many key players.

"we love you liv." rach said for all the girls.

"i love you all too, and i hope to see you all i miss all of you." liv pouted, she had taken the phone form Leah's hand at this point which the blonde just let her.

"right i'm getting in the shower so i will see you all when i can. amazing game tonight girls." liv says as she blows a kiss to them all before passing the phone to Leah.

"oh now you remember me." leah teasingly says.

"whatever." liv laughs before pressing a kiss to her girlfriends lips and making her way into the bathroom.

"shut up, children the lot of you." Olivia heard her girlfriend say which made her giggle before she shut the bathroom door.
