It's in human nature that when you get a taste of your loveable things, you can't get rid of them. Our Kookie loves Mimi a lot but he loves food too. Now when he relaized that he can enjoy his favourite food without anyone knowing. He starting doing it constantly. And when put in situation, he would say stomach bug. The conversation will always be like this between Mimi and KOO

JIMIN: Let's go to dinner love.

JUNGKOOK: Ah. hyungie I am having pain in stomach. Looks like I caught some infection....But don't worry, I took medicine. Can we rain check.

JIMIN: Okay baby. Just take care of yourself.

JUNGKOOK: Sure love you. Cuddles.

ANOTHER TIME

JIMIN: babe my friends wants to invite us on dinner.

JUNGKOOK: Hyung I don't feel good.

JIMIN: Are you okay baby?

JUNGKOOK: I think it's the stomach bug again.

JIMIN: Again.

JUNGKOOK: yes. Doctor said to be careful.

JIMIN: Oh my precious baby. Hyungie will cancel it and will give you a lot of cuddles.

ANOTHER TIME

JUNGKOOK: Hyung sorry. I already ate.

JIMIN: But I was gonna make dinner.

JUNGKOOK: Next time hyung. I ate too much at lunch. Can't digest.

JIMIN: Oh okay. (pouts)

And this keeps going for weeks. Jimin gets worried so he starts to get extra careful and over protective of his Koo. He cooks his meal himself, make sure he eats in front of him. He cuts all kinds of carbs from his food list to check if they are not causing issues (carbs causes a lot of stomach issue, Mimi knows it). And Jungkook has to eat chia pudding, smoothies, asai bowl and a lot other health conscious things. He feels like he eat more than how a person in hospital should eat. The more he lies, the more protective Mimi gets.

They say tragedy hits you when you had no idea. The same happened to them. Jungkook didn't knew that his lie will create a bigger issue in their lives. He didn't knew someone was looking for an opportunity to break them and that person got one because of his lie.

Choi Haneul had loved Jimin since she was teenager. The elder being the sweetest and kindest attracted her a lot. Growing up her parents said they both will marry but it all changed when Jimin went to seoul. Because one summer he was coming home, holding hands with a boy whom he introduced as boyfriend. All of her dreams were crushed because of Jungkook. It didn't helped that everyone loved Jungkook even though he came from a middle class family. She hated him and blamed him for taking her dreams of marrying Jimin.

By luck, her parents sent her to Jimin's company for training before she could start her own business. She had been watching for sometime how Jimin was worried and dejected because Jungkook kept cancelling plan. She considered it a great opportunity to break them. And damn she got an amazing opportunity when she saw Jungkook with another male in a restaurant getting cozy when he said to Jimin that he was busy at work. She smirked as an amazing plan formed in her mind.

So she started her plan to break them by putting a little seeds of doubt in Jimin's mind. She didn't wanted to be bad in Jimin's eyes so she used to ask Jimin advice what should her friend when her boyfriend do this. She used to state the same scenarios as happening in Jimin's life.

Jimin considered himself to be calm, collected and level headed. He always thought through things before reaching to conclusion. But the way things were happening in past few weeks between him and his lover, didn't help but give rise to doubt. the doubt being Jungkook cheating on him. His heart scremed at him for even thinking about something like this because he knows his Koo loves him. But then why? Why is he always cancelling plans? Does he not love him anymore? Did he do something to hurt his koo?

HANEUL: Oppa!

JIMIN: Hm

HANEUL (pouts): I brought you here so you can get fresh air. And you are day dreaming.

JIMIN (sigh): I am sorry Hani. Oppa has a lot of things in mind. (For Jimin, Haneul his little cousin that he pampered since they were kids)

HANEUL: Tell me. I can help. Please

JIMIN: mmmh. Nothing.

HANEUL: Oppaaa!!

JIMIN: okay. See there is a colleague of mine. He asked me that his boyfriend always bails on their plan and changes topic. He doesn't know what's happening. so he is a little worried.

HANEUL: Oppa, don't get mad. But that boyfriend is bad sign. If he is bailing, then that means he is cheating or is trying to get away from you.

JIMIN (eyes widened): No.

HANEUL: Yes. Why would they bail on their lover, if they don't have something to hide? I mean it can happen once or twice but not all the time. He should leave him.

JIMIN (whisper): No, my Koo can never do anything to hurt me.

HANEUL: OH. Is that Jungkook?

JIMIN: Ha?

HANEUL (pointing at something across street): Jungkook. Over there at the café.

Jimin looks at where Haneul is pointing. And it is his boyfriend with another male, sitting cosily. His heart drops to his stomach because what is his lover doing here when he said to him that he had work so he couldn't join him at lunch.

FLASHBACK (1 HOUR EARLIER)

Jimin finished his work. He picked his phone and called his lover to ask him for lunch. it's been so long since they ate together.

JIMIN: Hey love

JUNGKOOK: Hey babe. How are you? Did you had your coffee?

JIMIN: I am okay. And I did. Thank you for the coffee.

JUNGKOOK: No problem my love.

JIMIN: I called because I finished my work. I was thinking if we could get lunch together. I miss eating with you. I saw restaurant and.....

JUNGKOOK: Ah. Babe sorry. I have too many clients in the shop. I thought you were busy so I took clients.

JIMIN (shoulders fall): Oh.

JUNGKOOK: I am sorry Baby. if I knew that, I wouldn't have.

JIMIN (sad and pouting): No, it's not your fault. I should have told you earlier.

JUNGKOOK: Are you pouting my love? I will make up at night. how about we had dinner?

JIMIN (happy): Okay. Love you babe.

JUNGKOOK: Love you too Mimi.

Jimin lies on bed, his eyes on the ceiling. His boyfriend is asleep but he can't close his eyes. After what he saw during lunch and the lie from his boyfriend is still causing him pain. He thought about confronting him but when he came back home, his boyfriend was preparing dinner, smiling at him. they had a great dinner but it didn't stopped the doubt growing in him. He turns around in his boyfriend's arms. He caresses his boyfriend's cheeks, eyes teary.

I hope it's all my misunderstanding Koo, because if you are really c-cheating on me. I'll die. I can't live without you Koo. Please tell me you don't love me, so I can let go of you but don't break my trust. I won't be able to bear that. I'll be happy in your happiness, but pl-please.

He sobs silently in his lover's arms who nuzzles closer to him, sleeping soundly unaware of the storm in his lover's heart.
