Chapter 12 (SANEMI POV)

(Lol I am back again happy new year :3)

He had convinced me to go on a walk, and by a walk I mean a piggy back ride since he couldn't walk. I accidentally burnt the food I made so we had to go get something from somebody else. By that somebody else I mean Rengoku. Giyuu explained that he had no missions and Tengen probably made poison, so Rengoku was a better option.

This is going to be so humiliating, I said before I knocked. Rengoku opened the door, of course. His father from what he said is "always busy" and his brother was to nervous. He smiled his usual irrational smile and said, "Ah Tomioka-San! Shinazugawa-san! Good to see that you both are well!"

I felt Giyuu hide behind me, of course it was more embarrassing for him since he was so cold and apart from all of us that it's awkward that he is with somebody other than Kocho, but I had to deal with him too!

"What brings you two here?" Rengoku's vibrate additive was making me sick.

"We're here if you could help us with cooking, I burned the last of Tomioka's rations."

He laughed, I wanted to punch him in his sunny bright face. "Yeah! Of course I can!"

About a hour later we finally left, I was done about 5 minutes in. I just don't dig his personality, reminds me of somebody.. anyways I finally managed to get Giyuu back to his estate and realized his status for a moment... I felt him breathe slowly, peacefully. He weighted down a little more.

He was sleeping, for once I felt him actually sleeping. I tugged him from where he clung on my back. He reminded me of a koala, I had seen one once. I saw the Koala with Kanae, she said something about it.. what was it... oh well... can't even ask her anyways.

I managed to lower my body to the ground to rest him down. God damn it... the thoughts started setting in again, those "lovey" thoughts. I couldn't handle it, I immediately left and sat down. I persuaded myself to push the thoughts out. One side of me.. wanted to be his friend, or even more. Then the other side knew him as the loner, the fool who thinks he's better than everyone. The conflicts fought in my head for the rest of the day, until I decided to sleep myself.
