(Almost lost my writing allowance but I'm here lolol 👊😃)

(POV: Salami Shinazugawa)

We had stopped at Master's house to alert him. A few hashiras has left when they heard the news. I of course had to wait for Shinobu outside. I heard somebody or something drop down from a tree. I could tell who it was. I turned to him, "Sabito..?"

The boy nodded in response.
"Shinazugawa, I know where he is"

I ran up to him and gripped onto his shoulders.
"You found him?"
"Yeah, but your butterfly friend doesn't see me so when she comes out here you'll look crazy. Or hopeless."
I crossed my arms and diverted my eyes, "Why am I the only one who sees you?"
"Because I want you too."
I looked at him, "You bastard! You could of shown yourself to anybody but you don't! You could of showed yourself to Giyuu and thi-"
A sharp pain came to my face.
"Idiot!" He yelled at me, "If I showed myself to him, he'd be happy!"
"Isn't that what you need?!" I fired back.
"Let me finish damnit! If he's happy I go back and then he gets depressed again and it's back to square one."
I stood there dumbfounded, "Oh.."
He shot me a look, "No wonder you can't read or write."
I snarled at him.

"Shinazugawa-San? What are you doing?" Shinobu asked from behind me.
I caught a glimpse of Sabito grinning before he left.
"Nothing Kocho, how is master..?" I looked at her.
"Aww.. do you have a soft side showing~?" She mocked.
"Just tell me bitch..!!" I balled my hands into fists.
"Yes he is fine, just worried for Tomioka-san's safety like all of us are." She smiled, slight anger was easily displayed on her face. I turned and began walking off.
"Ara Ara, Shinazugawa-San~? Where are you going?" She called.
"Away from you," I tilted my head and called back.

Sabito joined me again a few feet away.
"Alright, where do I go?" I glared at him.
"aWW dO yoU haVe a SofT siDe shOwing~?" Sabito mocked Shinobu. I laughed a tad.
Ok.. Maybe he isn't so bad. (Ppl ship Sabito and Sanemi.. 💀)
Sabito put his hands behind his head.
"That tall guy, the really fast one? Giyuu left that city."
"Tengen Uzui?"
"Nah I prefer 'flashy guy' as a nickname." Sabito grinned as he continued walking.
I jokingly rolled my eyes. Then took a deep swallow.

"Oi Sabito?" I said looking at him. He looked back at me, "Yeah?"
"Have you seen heaven?"
"Well yeah sharthead, I died remember?"
"Have you met somebody named Kanae Kocho?"
He nodded, "Yeah, she won't shut up about you. And Makomo and Kanae keep making bets that you're gay."
I glared, "They're doing what-.."
I shook my head, "Never mind that.. how is she?"
"Dead. But very optimistic."
"She hasn't changed..."
"Huh?"
"Nothing fox boy, let's go."
He shoved me playfully, "Did you just call me 'fox boy'?"

I glared at him, "Yeah? Your point?"
He laughed, "What an odd nickname."
I flustered in embarrassment, "Can you stop playing around and disappear or something!?"
He faked a pout and left.
Well I didn't know that'd actually work.

I arrived at the city, most people glared at me or kept out of the way. I overheard whispers.
"Isn't that the wind Hashira?"
"Stupid man, demons aren't real"
"Didn't a searcher come earlier.."
"20 yen to talk to him."
I rolled my eyes. I had to fight the urge to punch the last guy in the face. Instead I just glared which made him jump.

Being a feared Hashira was amusing. But I had no time. I went toward the tree line. I knew he'd go this way. I always seemed to find him in the nature. It was an odd trait, not like I was bothered anyways.
I heard a distant voice, "Can I come back now?"
I grumbled, "Fine but to tell me where to go."
Sabito appeared at my side smiling.
"The city is stuffy. I'm happy me and Giyuu lived in the woods."
"You enjoyed that didn't you," I muttered under my breath.
"What was that? Quiet lil guy?" Sabito grinned.
"I'm bigger than you!! Don't call me small if your smaller," I barked at him.
"More like quiet lil dog," he laughed in return.
I shoved him, not enough to push him over but to rattle him.
"Why would you shove a little guy," he rocked clutching himself pathetically.
"I hate ghosts," I stated that loudly so he definitely heard it.
He turned to the trees, hopping around.
"You're so mean, no wonder your fellow hashiras don't like you. Well, except Giyuu of course. If you're looking for him, you must looovee each other," He laughed as my face reddened.
"Ugh shut up dumbass," I covered my face.
I watched Sabito look to another set of trees.
"Oh hello butterfly!" He called.
I turned my head to where he was calling. There was indeed a butterfly. But not the one I like.
"Oh it seems your friend has caught me Shinazugawa-San," Kocho said dropping down.
I rolled my eyes.

Sabito dropped down as well and waved.
"I'm Sabito! And you're Kocho Shinobu?" He said grinning.
"Yes I am, pleasure to meet you," she returned the grin.
"How long have you been following us," I spat the question at her.
"Since you entered the city."
Good she didn't hear us mocking her. That'd be aggravating.
I realized, "Wait.. SABITO YOU MADE HER SEE YOU NOW??"
He giggled childishly, "Yep~!"
I crossed my arms and huffed.
"If you were listening you should know what we're doing. Coming or not?" I looked at her.
"I'm coming to make sure he's not to badly injured."
I grumbled. I rather you didn't.
