Chapter 5

Jackson, Mayla's boyfriend, invited us to hang out at his place for the night. Mayla offers to drive us over but I said I would. It makes me feel better if I drive because it feels like I have full control over what's going to happen in the car and if anything does happen it will be my fault and no one else will have to go through the suffering I have been going through myself.

We make our way over in some comfy clothes, leggings and my usually baggy jumper and Mayla matching with me. Once we arrive we walk straight in since this is like Maylas second home, she spends more time here than she does at the apartment we share. I think I won't have a flatmate by this time next year because she'll probably move in here.

Once we've reached the living room it's not only Jackson there Theo is as well. My mind is still stuck on that nickname he gave me the other day, it makes sense, I do need someone to be my protector but at the same time I don't want to be anyone else's problem, I don't need to drag them down with me.

Jackson tells us why Theo is here, "Hey babe, Theo is going to watch some movies with us, is that okay ?"

"Yeah that's fine with me and I'm sure Q is fine with it as well, right?"

"Yeah sure, at least I won't be third wheeling anymore"

Mayla goes over to cuddle with Jackson on the love chair, so I sit on the long sofa that Theo is sitting on. We sat close together, it's not as awkward as I thought it was going to be, we all got comfortable and started the movie marathon of all the Iron mans. We're halfway through the first movie and Jesse walks in with a giggling girl trailing behind him. I looked back again and I realised it's Stacy, she gives me a dirty look. "Hey i didn't know you were here" jesse says to me, "yeah jackson invited us, i would say to join us but you're obviously busy with that" i say back.

"Jesse, come on i wanna have some fun" stacy whines. "Yeah i'll be right there, my rooms the 3rd door on the left, go up and i'll be there"

I roll my eyes, im suprised Stacy hasn't said anything to me like she usually does. " I knew she would eventually get round to him, she likes to make her way around the whole team" Theo whispers in my ear, that's when I realise how close we are now sitting, legs, arms and almost heads touching each other. I have no idea how that happened.

We've made it through half of the second movie and it's now 11:30 but we all have no lectures tomorrow so it's fine we can finish them all tonight. Mayla and Jackson have now gone upstairs because they've been arguing and they didn't want to argue in front of us. Somehow we've moved even closer and my head is now on his shoulder and his head is on top of mine. For the first time since the accident I've never felt so comfortable with someone as I have with him. Mayla and Jackson come back downstairs and shortly after so does Jesse and Stacy, he walks her to the door and walks back to us and sits down, me and Theo stay in our same position. "Is the second one finished?" Mayla whines. Theo clears his throat and answers in his groggy tired voice "yeah we finished it just before you came down" , god that voice is doing things to me it shouldn't, it's so hot. "I'm gonna get going now before it gets even later" I say standing up. "No you aren't, just stay please" Mayla pleads with me "yeah it's not safe driving out there this late and dark, just stay with me" jesse suggests and he knew that mentioning thats its not safe or dark would be a hit to me and would make me change my mind. "Thanks but no thanks, I'm not sleeping in the same bed you've just had sex in and you're a dick for even bringing things up."

"Stay with me instead, i'll have my side and you'll have yours i'll even put up a pillow wall" Theo suggests while he's smirking at me. "I feel bad though and i don't have any pyjamas so i'll just drive home" i'll be fine, nothing bad will happen if i drive home in the dark, ill be fine.

"Q I'm sure if Theo didnt mean it he wouldn't have offered and you guys were getting comfy together on the sofa together and don't think i didn't see that, I have something for you to wear in Jackson's room."

"Okay fine i'll stay but the pillow wall is something were definitely doing"

Jesse gives me and Theo a dirty look, i'm confused about why he's doing that, he's literally just had a girl here, the one girl i hate.

"Come on Q i'll give you them now"

"Okay thanks"
