JUNGKOOK POV
First thing the following
morning, He stood at Jimin's
side at the Province Hall, impatiently awaiting their witnesses to arrive.
He'd texted both Joon and Tae and told them to come immediately it was a life and death emergency but not to tell
a soul where they were headed.
Once his brothers arrived, the judge was inside, ready for
the mating ceremony.
"Tae's flaky, You know that." Jimin said under his breath.
"He might not even show up."
"I still needed to invite him."
"I haven't always been the best brother to him and if he found out I mated one of his friends without so much as a phone call I'd never hear the end of it."
From the corner of his eye,
he saw Joom's head rising
above the crowds.
His younger brother was tall, even for an alpha and could almost always be easily
picked out of a crowd.
Joon saw him and quickened
his step.
When he came to a pause before them, Jungkook introduced
his omega to his brother.
"Park Jimin, meet Jeon Namjoon."
Joon held out a hand.
"Nice to meet you..."
"Likewise." Jimin replied.
Joon's stare turned on him.
"So where's this emergency?"
"I need you to be my best
man." Jungkook murmured.
Joon's eyes widened, his
mouth dropping open.
"Ummm... what?"
"Jimin and I are getting mated."
"As soon as Tae gets
here." Jungkook added.
"Your plan to avoid mating hobi is to rush into a mating with someone else?" Joon turned
to Jimin.
"No offense."
"None taken." Jimin said.
"I already told him this
is crazy too."
"Hobi is holding something
over my head trying to force
me to mate him." Jungkook looked to Joon a moment
before looking to his brother.
"That something could hurt Jimin, We mate and it saves
us both from hell."
"I'm sure there's something else that can be done versus a mating." Joon murmured.
"Maybe but we don't have
much time." He said.
"This is our only choice."
Joon wrapped an arm around
his shoulders and led him a
few feet away.
He whispered his concerns.
"What are you doing?"
"Spur of the moment is not
who you are."
"Maybe it needs to be."
"Do you even know this
omega?"
"This is the omega."
"The one from the lake house."
Joon's eyes widened again.
"Oh. You got your dick wet
and lost your mind?"
He sighed. "Him or hobi."
"I'd say anything was better
than hobi but I wouldn't want
to tempt fate." Joon said, glancing Jimin's way.
