Jungkook watched the limo depart, anger and rejection coursing through his veins.
He knew Jimin felt the bond between them.
It was magical when they
were together, their touch enough to set the world on fire.
He reached down and adjusted the erection pressing firmly against the zipper of his
tailored slacks.
Even fighting wasn't enough to dampen the need he felt every time Jimin was in the room.
But his omega was scared.
Jungkook had already noticed
it and their argument only compounded his thoughts.
Whenever Jimin didn't feel in control of a situation, he
started an argument.
He'd hoped that the powerful emotions they shared would be enough to hold them together.
Lust wasn't enough.
He knew that but he had hoped they could find a path to more than the combustion they felt
in the bedroom.
Apparently, that wasn't to be.
He'd offered the world and
the omega had rejected him.
Rejection wasn't something
he was accustomed to.
And it burned, deep in his gut.
A part of him had wanted to
lock his feisty omega away in
his bedroom upstairs.
Pin him down to the bed until
the man had agreed to stay.
But that would've only fueled Jimin's arguments all the more.
Letting him go hadn't felt like
the right move either but what other choice did he have?
Have him stay and argue
more?
He marched upstairs and
looked at the bed they would've shared and then it hit him.
It was the bed he'd shared
with hoseok.
He hadn't even considered
how the omega would feel
about that.
Glancing around at the glass walls, he tried to imagine him and Jimin living in the house together and couldn't get a picture in his mind.
Had he made a mistake
mating a skittish omega?
The man had looked like a frightened rabbit all through
the ceremony and lunch after.
He had hoped their little encounter in the back of the
limo would've calmed Jimin
but it only seemed to frighten
the omega more.
He would need to find a
way to cement their
connection one way or another.
One day soon, he'd have his mate back in his arms.
Come hell or high water.
