JIMIN POV

A few weeks later...

Jimin pulled up before the
huge brick estate on the outskirts of the city in the car
his alpha had demanded he take.

The residence was in an older neighborhood, one with homes that screamed of old money.

There was green and wooded
lots for as far as the eye could see, not a neighbor in sight
yet they were somehow only thirty minutes from the heart
of downtown.

Redecorating a home in this neighborhood could set him up for the future, if he did well.

He knocked on the door, the sound echoing through the house.

When he met a beta at the
door, he saw the space was empty inside.

A blank canvas.

Jimin felt like rubbing his
hands together. Goodie.

"Mr. Baskins? I'm Jeon
Jimin." He offered his hand.

"We spoke on the phone
earlier."

"Oh yes." the beta said, grinning ear to ear.

"I'm so glad you've arrived."

"Come on inside."

Jimin's scanned everything
as he entered.

A sweeping staircase railing made of heavy oak.

Wainscoting.

Perfect hardwood floors.

A gorgeous chandelier in the middle of the foyer that
looked centuries old.

This place is stunning
even empty!

"Would you like a tour of the place?" Mr. Baskins asked.

"Would I? Absolutely."

"This house is phenomenal."

"I'm so glad you think so." the beta said with a smile.

He pulled out a notebook.

"If there are certain ideas you have, please let me know as
we go through the rooms so
I can jot down notes."

"No notes, we can save that for later, Why not just take it all
in and see what's here first?"

Jimin shrugged.

He shoved the notebook back into his satchel and smiled.

"Then let's take it in."

After touring the first floor
with its huge, professional kitchen, the study, the dining room, den, living room, salon, and sunroom, he was
awestruck by the house.

While it was most definitely too much house it was everything he'd want in a home.

A little part of him was so
jealous of Mr. Baskins.

Once they reached the second floor, he was even more so.

Five large bedroom suites, one of which was the master centered
in the home and they were enormous spaces fit for a king.

"Wow, this house is utterly fantastic." He glanced at the stairs heading to a third floor.

"How much more does this
place have?"

"A small movie theater... a library, a playroom for children."

"And then some rooms for
the staff."

"Staff?" He glanced around.

"I guess if you have a house
this big, you need a staff to
keep it going."
