Chapter 20
Megan and Trevor began to walk their way to the entrance of the airport. Trevor surprised Megan earlier that day with airplane tickets instead of going on the train for another 8 hours. Traveling through the sky would benefit them both and they would be more comfortable.
"Ugh I feel sick. Maybe going on this plane wasn't the best idea," Megan said rubbing her stomach as she lugged her roller bag to her seats.
"You okay love?" Trevor asked with a look of concern.
"I think I can make it for the flight. I'm fine I just need some water and sleep," Megan said sitting down and resting her head on the back of her chair.
"Okay. Sleep well Meg," Trevor said giving Megan's forehead a light peck.
"I would hit you right now if I wasn't tired. You got lucky Trevor," Megan replied keeping her eyes closed.
Megan fell asleep to her side right after the flight attendant had told them they could put their seats down. Trevor was clicking away on his laptop to find the place where the last artwork was placed in by Megan's aunt. The next place they would find it would be the Auditorio nacional de musica.
"Looks cool," Megan said peering over Trevor's shoulders.
"Bloody hell! Megan you scared me; I thought you were asleep," Trevor exclaimed shocked at the little brunette looking over at him.
"Sorry. I thought you wouldn't mind," Megan said in her sick voice.
"I don't mind its just I thought you would sleep for the whole plane ride or something. We're only 2 hours in," Trevor said closing his laptop.
"Why? Are you hiding anything from me? Something PG13 to be more specific," Megan said gently nudging Trevor's shoulder.
"If you're insisting on me watching porn than absolutely no," Trevor replied.
"I don't even look like the kind of guy that would do that. C'mon Meg," "Whatever you say," Megan said turning to her side and resting her head on the pillow she got from the airport shop.
*5 hours later*
Megan looked out the window and she could see the masses of green land and long rivers a clear sky. There would definitely be a weather change from Germany to Spain. Megan unlocked her phone and was surprised to see 78 degrees Fahrenheit on her screen. It was a good thing she packed a swimsuit. This would be the first time Trevor and her would go to the beach and enjoy themselves since the last time. Megan plugged in a pair of headphones in her ears and closed her eyes again, her ears only filling with the sound of Jax's voice, a girl from American Idol who she adored to listen to. She wondered what Trevor listened to.
*2 hours later when they landed*
Megan and Trevor had just gotten off their flight and began to devour some Spanish meat and breads at the shop located inside the airport. They both really loved the food and it set a great mood for the whole trip.
"I can't believe we're finally in Spain," Megan said with a big smile on her face as she started to walk from the restaurant to a taxi station.
"Took us a while but we're finally here and the weather's great. Perfect for going to the beach," Trevor answered back nudging Megan.
"Yes, yes. We'll have time for that when we find the last thing my aunt put in her letter. I'm determined to find the last piece from the painting," Megan addressed as she put on a pair of her favorite sunglasses.
