Chapter 26

Megan woke up in the morning to find breakfast made in the kitchen for her with a simple, handwritten note from Sam on the table. She quickly scanned it seeing the he was at work and that Trevor would be picking her up at 6 to take her out. Megan sat down and began eating the waffles and sausage that had been made for her as she unlocked her phone and went on Twitter to see what was new with her friends at home. Most of them were taking their annual cabin trip, which because she was in England, she had to miss. Megan always had lots of fun on that trip, but she realized this summer had been her favorite summer so far. She met Trevor and got back the paintings, all while traveling around Europe.

After she finished eating, checked the time and saw it wasn't even the morning anymore. It was 2 pm already. Megan walked upstairs to start getting ready, when she received a text from Trevor that read:

Trevor: Wear something nice...I'm picking you up at 5...change of plans. Sorry.

Megan: It's fine. Any hints on where we are going.

Trevor: It's a surprise.

Megan: Gah...I hate surprises.

Trevor: Too bad

Megan: :(

Trevor: See you later

Megan: Or maybe not....

Megan: JK JK
Trevor: *rolls eyes* whatever

Megan: Bye T Doug the Science Thug

Trevor: Bye Meeegan

After she finished texting him, she hopped in the shower. Once Megan finished showering, she looked through her suitcase to find something presentable. Megan settled on a royal blue lace dress that had a zipper in the back and a pair of black flats with a small bow on the front. She then softly curled her hair and put on some light make up. Megan took on last look in the mirror and then heard the doorbell ring. She peered out the window to see Trevor's car and then grabbed her purse and phone and went downstairs to open the door for Trevor.

"Megan...wow...you look beautiful." Trevor says in awe of Megan's appearance.

"Aww...thank you Trevor!" Megan says giving Trevor a soft kiss on the cheek.

"Follow me m'lady." Trevor says grabbing Megan's hand and leading her to his car.He then opened and closed the car door for Megan as she got into his car. Trevor ran around to the other side and straightened his tie in the window of the car before he hopped inside himself. He couldn't believe he was so lucky to be able to call Megan his girlfriend.

"So Trevs, where are we going?"

"Like I told you before, it's a surprise." Trevor responded smirking.

"Not fair. I want to know where we are going! For all I know you could be kidnapping me!" Megan cried out.

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not." Trevor says shrugged as the car stopped at a red light.

"Trevor!!!" Megan exclaimed nudging Trevor.

"Hey! That wasn't nice!"

"Trevor, hay is for horses! Gosh!" Megan says making Trevor groan as the car starts moving again.

"Let me focus on driving please. We don't need to get in a wreck." Trevor says shaking his head.

"Mmkay. I'm just gonna turn on the radio." Megan says pressing the button to turn on the radio when a lovely male voice fills the speakers. Trevor quickly reaches over and changes the song that was playing.

"Trevor, I really liked whoever was singing. Why'd ya change it?"

"No reason at all. I-uh-just didn't like the song." Trevor saying nervously.

"Are you sure? I mean that singer kinda sound like y-"

"Look at that we are here!" Trevor exclaims cutting off Megan.

"Wow" Megan says in awe seeing the gazebo set up in the park right in front of them covered in twinkle lights, with a table for two in the center. The table was set and covered in a light blue tablecloth. Megan noticed that on the side there was a guitar was duct tape on it laying. Suddenly her door was opened, tearing her away from her thoughts. Megan got out of the car, taking Trevor's hand as he led her to the gazebo. Trevor pulled out Megan's chair as she sat down and then pushed it in for her as well.

"Such a gentleman." Megan said to Trevor as he sat down in front of her.

"Well you know me..." Trevor says laughing. "Is it okay? I hope it isn't too much or anything-"

"No, no, no. It's perfect! I love it!" Megan said smiling at Trevor.

"Good! Let's eat then!"

The meal that had been prepared was spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and green beans. They sat together making small talk as they ate. For dessert Trevor had gotten cupcakes for them to eat. Once they had finished dessert Trevor got up for the table and grabbed the guitar that Megan had noticed early.

"You play?" Megan asks.

"A bit...well...yeah. I have some stuff on iTunes and some fans and all that. It's not much, it's mainly for fun."

"Wow! Are you gonna play something? Because I would love to hear it!" Megan says smiling at Trevor.

"Yeah. This one is one I wrote...uh...for you." Trevor says nervously. "I hope you like it. It's called All For You."

"Trevor I-I love it!" Megan says tearing up.

"I was hoping maybe it would help you choose to stay here for school." Trevor says nervously.

"Well, I had already decided to stay, but that made it even more apparent." Megan says hugging Trevor.

"I'm so glad." Trevor says meeting Megan's eyes and then slowly leaning in to press his soft lips to hers. They slowly pulled away both blushing and smiling, holding hands.

"I love you." Megan whispers.

"I love you more." Trevor says pulling Megan in for another hug and rocking her back and forth.

Is it bad that I get the feels from the cuteness of my own characters...yeah probs. Okay that is that last chapter...but there is an epilogue that is SOOOOOO cute!!!
