Nick was convinced that Math couldn't possibly make sense to anyone. I mean who's idea was it to put letters in Math?! Because whoever decided that was a huge idiot. He stared at his homework messing with his tie slightly as his hair fell in his face.
Charlie looked up to see Nick intently staring at his homework as if it was the worst thing he'd ever seen ; he thought it was both adorable and hilarious. Nick placed his pen down before face planting the floor "Who is this homework designed for fucking Einstein?!". Charlie laughed before looking over at Nicks homework "Algerberic percentiles? Hm that's not as hard as it sounds just divide each amount by the substate and then multiply that to get your final answer".
Nick looked up dumbfounded "Yea can you repeat that in English". The smaller boy laughed before looking at his own homework which to Charlie seemed fairly simple.
Charlie looked up at Nick "Nick.. can I ask you a quick question?"
Nick looked up slightly "Yea what's up?"
The smaller boy shuffled slightly so he was sat up "The um... the whole trans thing.. is that why you got so pissed at Harry.. because of what he said".
Nick sighed and ran his hand through his own hair "Um..yea the tackle didn't help either I might ignore certain body parts but unfortunately I can still feel them and when he said that I just... I guess I lost it".
Charlie looked at Nick sympathetically with a tiny sad smile on his face as he listened to Nick talk.
"The idea of someone finding out is my worst fear because I don't want to be treated like anything other than a regular guy.. and I cringe anytime I'm reminded of what I used to be.." Nick paused slightly "Well...not used to be I've always been Nick but you know what I used to look like".
Charlie moved over to Nick and held his hand gently "Nick its okay...I'll never tell anyone and I'm proud of you for being brave enough to tell me". Nick sighed and gave Charlie a small kiss on the cheek before Charlie took a deep breath "As if I couldn't hate Harry anymore now he goes and does this shit".
Nick nodded before looking back at his homework "I guess he's just an ignorent cunt who doesn't even know how to tackle" Nick chuckled.
Charlie laughed "Wonder how he'll feel when I get better scores on the tackling exercise than him".
Nick placed his pen down and laughed "Oh fucking hell he will not be happy about that, he's convinced anyone who's not straight can't do sport very well".
Charlie rolled his eyes "Yep that's Harry".
Nick reluctantly put his attention back onto his homework which to him still looked like it was written in Latin and contained far to many letters for his liking. Eventually with Charlie's assistance he completed it (unfortunately Charlie refused to give him the answers). He sighed and threw his bag with his work in it across the room "If I ever see another piece of maths work I'm going to flip upside down" Nick sighed as he flopped onto Charlie's bed. Charlie laughed and sat next to Nick "Im looking forward too seeing that in our next math class then". Nick groaned and ran his hands through his hair "The person who invented maths is evil". Charlie laughed and rested his head softly on Nicks chest. The two spent a while simply enjoying being close to eachother until Nick had to go home. Thankfully they had school tommorow which mean Charlie could see Nick again the next day.
Nick tied his shoes and stood up before picking up his bag "Thanks...for everything" Nick said softly
Charlie smiled and hugged him gently "You have nothing to thank me for Nick".
They smiled and looked at eachother before parting ways until tommorow at School.
I hate Math if you can't tell but I love how this chapter came out!! ❤️
