The Sleepover

Nick placed the final few things into his bag as he prepared to go to Darcys for their big sleepover. Despite Nick knowing about this for a while it had never occurred to him what was at stake when it came to sleeping at a different location other than his house. Sleeping in binders was a terrible idea and without it Nick was terrified his friends would figure out everything. He loved his friends, they made him feel loved and happy but Tao could be a bit of a loud mouth as proven with what happened to Charlie, Nicks worst fear was being outed so what if Tao found out and then everyone knew-.

"NICK"

Nick snapped out of his thoughts as his mum shouted for him

"Nick sweetheart Charlie will be here to pick you up in 5 minutes are you ready?"

Nick fixed his hair and grabbed his bag

"Yea I'm ready I was just doing something sorry"

5 minutes passed and Nick went down the stairs to meet his beautiful boyfriend, he got his usual greeting which was a hug and a small kiss before they got into the car.

"So.. do you think Darcys brought alcohol-" Charlie asked nervously

Nick smirked "I don't know I mean her parents aren't going to be home so...it wouldn't shock me but I also don't know if she wants the house to be a mess when they get home"

Charlie laughed "OK fair point"

The drive there was mostly spent in comfortable silence with Charlie resting his head on Nicks shoulder which made Nicks heart flutter. Suddenly they stopped as they pulled into the driveway, Nick was suddenly filled with anxiety.

"Thanks Dad" Charlie said before he and Nick got out of the car.

Charlie and Nick walked towards the house and where greeting by their other friends with smiles and hugs (other than Tao who had a no making out rule).

Nick smirked as he sat down on Darcys couch next to Tara

"So there's a no making out rule...what about you and Elle" Nick scoffed

Charlie giggled and covered his face as Taos face flushed with Colour

"Shut it Nelson I just started liking you" Tao stuttered out.

Tara and Darcy giggled before putting down some sleeping bags and explaining the sleeping arrangements

"So my house has a spare room, Nick and Charlie you can use that room since you two are dating. Me and Tara will share my room and I have sleeping bags and pillows for everyone else" Darcy explained

Everyone smiled...except Nick usually the idea of sleeping next the Charlie was a dream but without his binder on and in front of people he wasn't sure how he felt. He brushed away how he felt and sat down with the others as they started to play uno.

Nick had never laughed more in his life, cards against humanity and uno where both hilarious too play with his friends (especially with Darcy saying the game was homophobic because she kept loosing). After a few hours they ordered pizzas and ate whilst talking about the latest Truham/Higgs drama which included Harry to no one's surprise.

Aled looked up from what he was reading "Didn't Harry tackle you the other day Nick? At practise..."

Charlies looked at Nick quickly worrying slightly for his boyfriend, Nick looked slightly panicked but he sighed

"Yea he tackled me wrong, it happens in rugby sometimes" Nick sighed before eating some more Pizza.

They laughed some more as they ate and at around midnight they all decided to get changed for bed, Nick decided when no one was looking he would quickly head to the bathroom to get changed into his pajamas. He headed up the stairs and shut up door behind him. He sighed as he started to change...he knew he had too for his own sake. He took of he shirt and put it in his bag. Suddenly the door OPENED "NICK SORRY -" Darcy stood there before closing the door quickly "Nick oh my god I'm..-". Nick felt his whole world stop...he felt like his head was spinning before suddenly everything just stopped.

Darcy panicked

"CHARLIE HELP!"
