Nick woke up in his bed with Charlie next too him and Nellie on the floor sleeping soundly. Nick slowly sat up and smiled as he saw Charlie sleeping soundly. Seeing Charlie sleeping so peacefully made Nick so happy... Charlie had been through more than any person should ever have too deal with, everything with Ben and the bullying he'd dealt with just made Nick wish he'd met him sooner so he could've protected him. Charlie's arms were covered in scars due to everything he'd dealt with it broke Nicks heart when he found this out, not because he was angry but because he wasn't there to stop it. Nick quickly snapped himself out of these thoughts and rubbed his eyes before giving Charlie a small kiss on the cheek, Charlie stirred slighty before rolling over to face Nick "Morning" Charlie said sleepily.
Nick smiled "Morning sleepy head". Charlie sat up and rubbed his eyes "Hm... what time is it?".
Nick sighed "I don't know and quite frankly it's the weekend so I don't care".
Charlie giggled and wrapped his arms around Nick "You sound like an edgy teenager".
Nick smirked "Oh do I now."
Charlie laughed slightly "You know... you look hot when your hairs messy".
Nick blushed, he'd forgotten he hadn't fixed his hair since waking up this morning, it was messy and rough making it look like he'd just come off the rugby pitch.
The taller boy smirked "Charlie you see my hair like this everytime we play rugby".
Charlie smirked "Hm...yea but it's different when we are alone".
Nicks eyes widened, he wasn't used to Charlie being this straightforward or flirty, it's not that he didn't like it he was just taken aback by it all. Suddenly Charlie pulled Nick into a deep kiss which took Nick even more by suprise. Nick quickly returned the kiss before wrapping his arms around Charlie. Charlie deepened the kiss and pulled Nick closer as Charlie's hands started to roam Nicks body...this was when Nick panicked. He quickly pulled away and without realising it pushed Charlie away from him.
Charlie was shocked... he hadn't expected that in the slightest "Nick.. im sorry did I do something wrong are you okay I'm sorry".
Nick was quiet for a moment before he realised what he did "No Char you didn't do anything wrong I just panicked...im sorry I pushed you it's just...I was scared you'd accidently touch certain things that I don't want".
Charlie's eyes widened "Nick... I-"
Nick interjected "It's not that I don't want to do anything with you it's just I don't even know how I'd feel about it...i hate my body anyway so if its being used surley I'd hate it more right? But I want to do stuff with you and I'm so confused about everything because your gay and I don't want you to see me and think I'm a girl and gross".
Nick was in the verge of tears and Charlie was speechless...he had never seen or heard Nick this vunrable.
Charlie took Nicks hand in his own and sighed "Nick I see you as you and I will never think of you any other way... we don't have to rush things we can take them at our own pace but I want you to know I would never think you're a girl or gross or anything along those lines. And yes I'm gay but you're a guy so that doesn't change anything".
Nick looked up at Charlie and wiped his eyes "Are you sure".
Charlie smiled and nodded before pulling Nick into a gentle hug "You're amazing Nick".
Nick held Charlie close and placed his head on Charlie's shoulder before closing his eyes and resting onto Charlie's shoulder. "I love you Charlie".
Charlie's eyes widened as he pulled away from the hug ".. What".
