INOYA
"Inoya". Someone spoke softly. Her voice was gentle. "Inoya!" This time, rather rushed. I could hear her but all I saw was black. Clashes of swords disturbed my solidarity. My eyes were now wide open, blinded by bright white sunlight.A glowing figure by my bedside on the right, a soldier on my left. "Take her away. Far and safe as you are destined to." Said the humanoid figure, her gleaming white gown stained bright red at her shoulders. She had great pair of pale angelic wings behind her. Golden locks of hair roped into a tight long braid. Her desperate green eyes looked at the soldier. He grimly nodded and took me by the hand and leaped out of the window.
All around us were hundreds of winged men armed with swords tackling each other. I watched them brawl as I fell from the skies. "There!" shouted a soldier who possessed a set of bow and arrows. He aimed at me.
"Your majesty!" yelled the wingless soldier who grabbed my wrist as we plunged down, through clouds of dust. "Your majesty!" he repeated. I glowered at him. "You will glide to that cave" he demanded, pointing to a brown mess below us. 'Glide' he mentioned. I felt my back, I had wings alright: slick black masses attached to my back. my mind was blank. I had so many questions, but they had to wait. A shower of arrows flew over to me. The soldier tugged me to the left and we fell faster.
"I do NOT wanna die young" I cried. "well then please fly yourself to safety". Well you see, that was a problem. I don't know how to fly. I tugged on my wings and they unfold miraculously. I straightened them with my fingers. I could now glide. I clutched his shoulders like an eagle holding his prey and drifted through the wind.
Well, the momentary peace was broken by another blast of arrows. I shifted my body weight towards the right and tried to aim for the cave to descend. "a little closer" he muttered. "dive a little" he ordered. I had no choice but to allow him to guide me. I obeyed his instruction. Angry men argued above us.
I took my chance and turned around, hundreds of army men following us. I was overcome by fear and my wings gave up. We dropped to the ground like stone. I saw something: green and brown flew into the sky, blocking all men. My vision turned black. The earth swallowed us.
