"Then why say things you don't mean? Life would be meaningless if all we ever did was say things we don't truly believe. At one point you stop believing yourself and you end up second guessing everything you say. A life of uncertainty, now that is something I wouldn't want to live in." (y/n) didn't like this, he was angry but in a different way. Angry because it hurt and he shouldn't care about if he was or wasn't Draco's friend. He was mad at himself."Truly beautiful, you have a way with words. I think he's just insecure, after all, you do a lot of work for him. I believe admitting your his friend would be his way of saying he needs you. Draco has always thought of himself as independent, someone others could follow. In your terms, admitting he needs you is the same as him taking his crown off and handing it over." Blaise was slightly amused by the situation but it was hard not to be. He knows the two will get over this argument but the way they act towards each other before they do is so interesting.
"I would let him keep his stupid crown, I don't need it. I have one of my own." The conversation was kept short. He understood what the others were trying to say. It didn't matter to him, who cares if people think you have an extra friend, the (h/c)ette wasn't willing to just follow the blonde like the others and he knew that's where the problem truly lies. Often times when they were together (y/n) was able to convince Draco to do things he wanted to do, on a good day the young Riddle would just follow Draco around instead. Overall, he thought there was a good balance for them.
"You were quick to get over that, are you feeling better now?" Pansy served everyone tea as soon as it arrived. She was honestly not anxious over the situation. She was sure that if the
(h/c)ette was truly mad over it he would've flipped a table over. "Obviously, I need to forget about the entire thing. What good does it do if I'm pining over a damn friendship that clearly won't be real?" The question was left out in the open for anyone to answer or for no one to answer. Of course the silence became deadly and Blaise set out to find something better to do.Not long after Pansy had said her goodbye to the (h/c)ette and left to class. Once the boy was alone he had ran to go find the one thing he had been enjoying lately, talking to his lost uncle. Finding the book and the quill, the two started to discuss the hidden monster. 'So how can I get down there? I want to keep it for myself.' (y/n) wrote a bunch of questions but this was the only one he got an answer to. 'Well, it's in that very same bathroom you found this book in. You can control it, after all, you are my blood. You using it sounds better than who I have linked to my book right now.' the words flooded into the small boys head.
He was truly curious as to who was linked to his uncle's book. He knew that the book being linked to a person was his uncles way of "coming back" whatever that meant. In any case, the young Riddle didn't care who was linked to the book. He wanted to see his uncle once more. The boy was quick to say his goodbye's and put the book away. As soon as it was back in it's safe place he started to scheme on how to get into the chamber of secrets.
After some minutes had past and he found himself, book in hand, in the ladies restroom. He was less nervous than before since everyone was still in class. He stood in front of one of the bathroom mirrors after he had tried running all the sinks full of water. There was only one that did not have water pouring out. "Oh.. what's this? You again? You seem to be lurking all over again." Myrtle let out a small giggle as she made her way over to the small boy. "No offense.. but I'm really not interested in ghosts. You also look like you're thirty which is concerning but.. could you turn the water off for me?" Making sure to speak lower when he made the comment about her age, the boy gave her his best smile.
It was clear that she was a fan of handsome boys and he has been told by his mom that he is a very handsome young man. "Oh? I'm just a ghost. I can't turn off the water." Myrtle gave a little smile to the boy who simply brushed her off. "Fine, I'll do it myself." The (h/c)ette walked around all over again just to turn the sinks off. He went back to the right sink and waited for a few moments before he got confused. Nothing was happening and he wasn't sure if there was anything special he had to do.
(y/n) took out the notebook and began asking questions to his uncle. He wanted into the chamber now, plus, he was in a slight panic over the fact that class was about to finish. The next class wouldn't start for a while which meant he'd either have to hide until it started or give up for the day.
After waiting for a while he had gotten a response on what to do now. Unfortunately for the shorter male, he felt the ground start to rumble which meant all the students were headed out of their classes. He was quick to exit the bathroom and was headed back down to the common room when people had started to whisper about Harry Potter. Lots of people had been rushing out of the school and onto the common grounds so (y/n) made sure not to miss out on what was happening. Once he had completely made it over to the scene the small male noticed that Harry's arm was all crooked. "What even happened?" The (h/c)ette couldn't help but to ask, the injury looked hideous and it was making him want to gag.
