"It's not rocket science to guess, I carry around Crabbe and Goyle because I have to. Father said I need to be friendly and you took Pansy, Blaise so I have to take them." The blonde shrugged a little. He tried not to make it a big deal but it felt like one to him. He had been friend with both Blaise and Pansy since they were five. Now he doesn't speak with them as often.

"You can take them if you want. I don't control who they go with, my intentions weren't to take your friends away from you." (Y/n) spoke carefully, usually he wouldn't think on his words too much but he wanted to be careful in order not to set anyone off. When the two entered the common room they were met with confused faces but the two males just shrugged it off. "Teas over there." Pansy pointed over at the long table off to the side of the room.

The two boys sat themselves next to each other when the blonde had remembered something. "I tried out for the quidditch team." He was careful when he spoke eyeing the other male. "Did you make the team?" the (h/c)ette shrugged a little, he knew this was a big deal to the blonde. It was no secret that he loved quidditch and that he wanted to try out. The small male just didn't think it would be so soon. He wanted to have high hopes but he genuinely didn't think Draco made the team.

"Well, the team was full but.. I might've made a small complaint to father about it." The blonde scratched the back of his head. He knew how it sounded but it was the truth and he figured he was allowed to tell (y/n) the truth before he went around lying about how he got the spot. "He bought you your way in?" the
(h/c)ette looked over to his right side a little but regretted it instantly. The pale features that he knew all too well formed into disgust. "No, he bought me the tryout. I made the team because I was better than one of them." The two sat in silence for a moment. Both taking sips of their tea.

"Sorry, I just thought that.. I mean, I shouldn't have assumed. I know how much you practice and how long you've waited for the moment but your father has a huge influence here and I guess my mind went to the obvious answer." There was no point in trying to cover up the truth. The only thing that the small boy could do was be gentle with his words. "I suppose that's fair." The two sat in silence for longer, both not knowing what to say to the other. "Thanks for.. inviting me for tea?" It came out much more awkward than (y/n) had wanted it too which made his face heat up instantly. Did what he said sounded weird? Probably.

"You don't have to be weird about it. I'm not someone you fancy." Draco laughed a little but as his laughter died down his face heated up. Sure he was almost positive that the (h/c)ette didn't fancy him but what if the reason why he got awkward was because he actually did. "Maybe we should get Pansy to come over here. The more the merrier, right?" The smaller male was starting to get more awkward and he could feel it. He swiftly raised a hand top where he knew his ebony haired friend would be and waved a hand in his direction. A few moments later the girl appeared and sat down across from her friends.

"What is the special occasion for this little tea attending?" The girl looked at the two people across from her and had noticed how both of their faces were a light shade of pink. "No reason. I mean, Draco made the quidditch team." the (h/c)ette smiled brightly at his friend. In all honesty he was in hope that changing the conversation to one that included his friend would break the awkward atmosphere. "Perfect! Now we can go to his games and you can gawk at him from afar rather than up close. What do you say?" Pansy matched her smile to her friend. "Gawk at me?" Draco rose his brows and just as fast turned his head to look at the male next to him.

(y/n) was in a bit of a panic, he doesn't gawk at the blonde. He has never done such a thing. "I don't do that. Pansy just likes to say weird things because she likes to see how much of a reaction you make." the
(h/c)ette turned himself so that the two were talking eye to eye. "Well, anyone would have a reaction like that. It's only natural." The blonde shrugged a little, he had lied. He wouldn't have had that reaction if it was Blaise. He probably would've poked some fun at him instead. "Sure, I believe you." The small boy nodded but didn't move for a moment which gave the blonde all the time he needed to speak, asking the question he had been wondering how to ask.

"But you'll come to my games, right?" A moment of silence had passed them by and pansy had wished so bad that she had a camera to capture the moment. "Of course your highness, I'll be at every game. That is if you'll have me." the boy felt his face heat up once again and finally remembered that his friend was sitting across from them so he turned away to face her instead. "It's settled then, you now have cheerleaders Dracy." Pansy clapped her hands. The three stayed at the table drinking tea and talking about useless things until they all finally decided it was time for bed. The group parted ways. They all left to get dressed and ready for bed. As soon as (y/n) was done he hurried to his room and jumped into his bed.

"You're a mess. Who jumps into bed like that?" Draco rolled his eyes at the other male as he stripped his bed of their sheets and got on. "I'm tired, now is not the time for you to be judging me." The two ignored each other for the rest of the night and before he knew it. Sleep had swept the (h/c)ette away.
