The group walked back to the Slytherin common room shoving each other around. "So what was all of that before practice?" (y/n) wanted to know if there was any specific reason as to why the blonde felt the need to brag. "Nothing, things just didn't go as planned. It's not my fault." Draco shrugged not knowing what else to say. He knew they were bound to get into an argument over what had happened earlier but he really didn't feel like starting it. "Did you really have to be rude to Ron like that though?" The (h/c)ette knew this was useless, the blonde wouldn't have a good excuse to give him.

"I wasn't being rude, I was being proud of what I am able to have in life. It's not my fault Granger decided to open her mouth." The taller male took his leave to bathe himself and be ready for dinner. "I know that's not the best of responses but it does sound somewhat valid." Pansy shrugged a little not wanting to make the conversation worse. No one in their group fancied Hermione in the slightest. "I understand that we have money but I don't understand why he needs to announce it all the time. It's rather tiring." The smaller male took a seat on the single couch they had gotten this year. He had requested it to his uncle because he didn't want to sit near others all the time.

Of course his parents paid for the couch but he didn't care. "Draco was raised differently than you were, Mr. Malfoy always made sure that Draco knew he should put people in their place because he's supposed to be better. I'm sure you've realized but Draco is a bit of a people pleasure when it comes to his father." Blaise was the one who spoke this time. He had placed himself in front of the
(h/c)ette. He had felt pressured by Lucius as well since he felt like a father figure to him. Of course the dark skinned man had his own parents but he spent a grand deal of time with the Malfoy's.

"I suppose I can understand that. I just wished he'd give it more thought. Tea before or after dinner?" (y/n) looked at his friends, he didn't want to talk about the matter anymore since it was clearly more complicated than it would've been for anyone else. "I say after or perhaps both. I like the idea of tea all the time I can't lie." Pansy had to think a little harder than usual. Getting tea usually depended on the (h/c)ette's mood so she didn't know how to answer.

It's not like she needed to have the time revolve around him but him making decisions for the group was much easier than having everyone else think too hard about if everyone else would agree. Instead, (y/n) knew the likes of most and tried his best to accommodate to them while still thinking of himself. "I was thinking more after, something relaxing in case things go down hill at dinner or something." The smaller male tilted his head back upon hearing footsteps enter the room. He turned his seat around so that he could be facing the green fire. He had forgotten how comfortable it could be in here.

The summer break had been so terribly boring and being back at school really was a blessing. Although, he couldn't say the summer was a complete waste. He had studied a load of new spells. "No need to turn away from me, I can assure you that I don't smell terribly." Draco stood behind the the leather giving it a tap before it spun once more. "You're offly close my lord, care to take a step back?" (y/n) sat up and noticed how his chin was almost flush with the other males chest. Face turning red and feeling a bit embarrassed the blonde took a couple steps back. "Sit with us at dinner, we should be going anyway." The (h/c)ette coughed a little as he felt awkward.

He had almost forgotten that Pansy and Blaise were in the same room as them. "You really should Dracy, it's been such a long while since we've all been together." The group started to head out. They had kept the conversation in high spirits so that no one was able to bring up the events from earlier. "What will your two groupies do once they find that you're not in your usual spot?" The smaller male poked at the blondes side a little, he hadn't wanted to admit it but he missed being around Draco as often as he was last year. Ever since their little argument their first year, they hadn't been near each other as often but he was trying not to let it bother him.

"They'll probably follow me or just keep eating, those lot aren't the brightest." Draco smiled a little, truthfully he had thanked Merlin that things hadn't gotten awkward since they slept in the same bed. At that moment (e/c) eyes were staring so intently at the taller male. He had noticed how the blondes voice had dropped slightly and he was enjoying the way it sounded. Not only that but Draco had grown a grand deal taller. (y/n) was starting to try and shut down the thoughts once again as he had started to notice his weird obsessive feelings for the blonde. Could he call them obsessive thoughts? He wasn't sure but that's what he would call it for now.

The group entered the grand hall and seated themselves in their rightful place. "Not having the Weasleys over for another meal, are you Rid?" Draco seated himself next to the shorter male before he could think on it deeper. "No, I suppose I'll be taking a break from them for a bit, thanks to a certain boastful blonde." The shorter male tossed an apple at the blonde before taking one for himself. The group began to eat and make conversation, most of it was back and forth between the pair of royalty but no one was complaining.

Instead, Pansy noticed how the smaller male had Draco practically squished into his side. Although, she didn't find this too weird considering that last year they really were always squished into each other like that. She was more just surprised at the fact that (y/n) didn't seem to notice at all.
