"That fear you're feeling without being able to move is like the one everyone else had to feel." Percy had a blank expression. It was true, (y/n) felt scared. At the mention of poison he wanted to move but came to realize he was stuck. At this point, it was clear to see that he would be drinking what was in the little vial anyways. A tear had regretfully fallen down his cheek. He had considered the Weasleys friends. "Cut it out already, you think you're acting better because your families are different? Look who's being prejudice. Fred tell him to stop please." Pansy was getting nervous. There was not one moment since she knew the (h/c)ette that he seemed this afraid.

His face couldn't show it but it felt as though it was radiating all over the room. The twins looked afraid as well. There was no way they actually wanted to be there. "Yeah.. maybe she's right Percy. Put that thing away and let's go." Ron looked almost as afraid as the (h/c)ette felt. It was a tragic thing. It seemed the only person who wanted to be here was Percy, himself. "Have you no spine? He injured our baby sister, mother would have it worse." Trying to find reason to justify his actions. The young Riddle's friends tried to think of ways to stop this. "Well, you see. You do notice just how much new things appear around your house lately, right?" Draco spoke carefully, he was trying his best not to sound like a snob.

"It's true, I saw mom getting somethings fixed which actually is a bit odd." Fred seemed as if he had just noticed something weird about it. "Has your mother perhaps talked about an anonymous sponsor or something?" Blaise caught on to what Draco was trying to say and was now speaking on his behalf. "A sponsor? Definitely not, though she said that there was a professor here looking out for the best interest of her children and that if she returned the money then the professor would send double." George nodded his head a little. That he knows of, his mom never sent the money back as she was an honest person and didn't want to be using other people's money.

"There was no professor.. well actually in a way there was. Meet the professor who was looking out for the wellbeing of the Weasleys, Professor (y/n) Riddle." Pansy pointed over to her friend who was still unable to move. "There's no way he could come up with that much money." Percy shook his head stepping toward the (h/c)ette but someone else was quick to speak up. "What exactly do you think you're doing Mr. Weasley?" Snape had heard about what Harry did and was making his way down to check on his nephew but came across a rather interesting scene. "Professor Snape?" Percy took several steps back if there was one person, people in the school feared running into, it was him.

"I'll have you know that this young man tells his parents that I will be taking him on trips and needs a certain sum of money to do so. He's clever in deceiving his parents and it works every time. Do not take his kindness as pity Mr. Weasley, he takes care of those important to him." The man was quick to fix the state of his nephew and noticed how hard the boy was trying not to cry. Severus snatched the vial from Percy's hand and observed it. "My dear boy, you would have been fine, this is nothing but truth serum. Weasley, I suggest you leave out of my line of sight." This was an unforgivable act, there was no doubt about it.

(y/n) had tucked himself away under his uncle's cloak, he was pressed into the mans side and it was dark now that his head was covered. "We didn't think he was going to go this far professor and we truly are sorry for what happened. While we know that his last name comes from something that is thought to be evil, I personally was going to wait and reflect on this." George was the first to speak up, his heart felt heavy and there was no way he could come back from this.

If the shorter male decided this was the end of their friendship he would allow it. This was nothing less than a traumatizing experience. "While the lot of you tend to travel in a pack, I know you have your way of thinking. I know my nephew has treated you well, I thought you ought to do the same. Dismissed." Snape was sure to wait until the Weasleys were gone before removing the (h/c)ette from under his cloak.

"Regardless of how scared you were, you were quick to hold your ground in a way that will be remembered. Shall you need anything, your uncle will be right here for you as will others. You are good in your heart, you remember that." At one point the boys friends had left which was the only reason Severus got comfortable with being this affectionate.

Tears started to come down the boys face and it was heartbreaking. "Everyone is going to treat me this way and I'm scared they're going to attack me." The words were hardly coming out of his mouth for how much he was heaving his breaths. "You won't be alone, I promise, you will come to no harm. I won't say you should hold your name above others but if it preserves your way of living then it would be clever of you to do so." The boy hugged his uncle tight for a while before he finally caught his breath. Percy Weasley would be first on his list of people he won't allow speak to him.

Severus patted the boys head carefully, "look here. Your cold tea has been replaced with some fresh tea. Let's have some. Come out." Severus called for the kids who he knew were waiting impatiently for the signal to come back in.
