"I always have a good time with dearest Draco, he is the light of my life, the cherry on my pie, the sugar to my plum." (y/n) started to sing the words that came out of his mouth which made the group he was with laugh. "Oh wow, you might as well marry him already, such sweet words from the poet. Draco you must be proud." Blaise was very entertained, if there was one thing the (h/c)ette could do well, it was be weird."Off to honeydukes, I'm in need of something sweeter than the blonde I have given my life to." The short male sang his sentence once again before hoping in the direction of the store he wanted to go to. George had placed himself right beside the (h/c)ette while the others were whispering about something behind them. "What's with the sudden outburst of Malfoy affection?" The tall male was very confused, though he hadn't always been around the two in order to know if this was normal. "Well you see, as king, I must give him my greatest affections or I fail my job as his trusty knight." (y/n) gave a simple explination of this game he had been playing with the blonde.
Truthfully, It would have been a longer answer. All it really was, was Draco liking to be superior and the (h/c)ette finding it amusing. Of course choosing to be his right hand man was the best option since he, himself, was technically the 'king'. "I see, so this isn't you two fancying one another and not knowing how to deal with it?" George noticed the pink tint on the other males cheeks and knew his answer. "No, that would be sort of strange wouldn't it, Me and Draco? We play this little game because he refuses to make me his friends and I can't seem to leave him alone.. the friends thing, not him." (y/n) smiled up at George before entering the store.
"Well, I can't see why you'd want to be in this store. We could see something much more interesting." Draco shrugged a little, the truth was, he wanted to look around. He wasn't in Honeydukes often and this gave him the chance to try a new sweet without having to ask permission. "Oh look Draco, they have flavored chocolates, let's get one." The shorter male took the pale boy by the arm and dragged him along to look at the wall full of sweets.
"Those two always forget we're here with them, I'm not even sure why we tag along anymore." George sighed a little. He himself was trying to be dramatic and it had meant to sound like a joke but it had come out as the opposite.
"We stick around because he doesn't ignore us forever, besides, I sort of get it. Draco is almost always making things difficult for (y/n). That or he's always denying the attention. Moments like these where Draco doesn't say anything is the opportunity to take." Pansy smiled over at her friends. One day she hoped she'd be able to drag around Fred that way. Weird that she can't, all because of house and money status but there was nothing she could change.
"That and Draco doesn't normally hangout with everyone when (y/n)'s around. He either hangs out with us without him or the two meet up alone, apperantly on accident." Blaise shrugged a little, he didn't mind as much. It was obvious that the
(h/c)ette wasn't favoring Draco as a friend. It just looked that way right now due to the fact that both of the boys are idiots."So it's a for sure thing now, I thought I was the only one who saw it." George laughed a little as he watched the pair argue over which candy to buy.
"I mean, seriously, I love mint and mint chocolate. You trying it for the first time is hardly adventurous. We should try the one with red chilly pepper!" The (s/c) boy was trying his best to convince the blonde to buy the spicy sweet chocolate but it wasn't working. "I want this one so we're buying it, aren't you supposed to say yes to what I want?" Draco was trying his best, he wasn't sure he wanted to try something spicy. It was scary and mint chocolate sounded like it would taste good.
"I see, why should I do this for you?" (y/n) was only joking, if they couldn't decide on the one then he would buy them both, even though he was sure Draco had his own money. "I don't know, I suppose I can apologize to you for not treating you well? I just assumed I didn't need to because I feel like this thing was bound to get awkward.. it's awkward, isn't it? Listen, I hardly ever get to eat a new sweet so the whole spice thing is scary. Dessert is the only time I'm allowed a sweet." The blonde facepalmed before tossing the chocolate and walking off. He wasn't angry just embarrassed in a way he had never felt before.
This wasn't the normal feeling he got when being embarrassed around the (h/c)ette this was different in the way that made him feel like his heart fell down to his shoes. "Hey Draco, I wasn't trying to actually make things difficult. I was going to buy both regardless of the decision, here." As previously decided, he had bought the chocolates both wanted and handed the mint one over to the taller male.
The shorter male felt a little guilty, but he knew he didn't have a reason. He didn't do anything wrong but the whole situation was weird. The blonde never got like this so now he didn't know how to fix it. "I know you weren't trying to make things difficult, I don't know why I walked away. I just feel weird right now." The blonde shook his head, if there was one thing he needed to do right now it was fake it until they got back.
"Let me help you then, what is it that you need? I can get you tea, hold you hand if I need to. That was partially a joke, I'll do it if it helps you but that's all. I can just stick with you until you feel better as well. I could kick Lucy's ass if you want, actually no, that would be more of a thing I would do for me. I think you get the idea though." (y/n) had started to ramble half way as he started to panic. Hopefully he didn't make things even more weird than they already were.
