Hi! So, in English, we had nothing to write about, so our teacher projected her computer screen onto the board and we wrote about the picture on there. Hope you enjoy! Nicola

The sun glistened off of the clear blue water as I ran down the beach. The white sand softly lead my feet to the crystalline blue water. At the water's edge, I stopped and turned around to signal at the people at the house on shore.

"Come on guys! There's no one here and the water's fine!" I cupped my hands around my mouth and shouted. A few seconds later 6 people were running down the beach to me, Jayden at the front and Isobel at the back.

Grinning, I turned around and ran into the water, just as Heather sprayed my back with water. Standing there dripping wet, I laughed and, cupping some water in my hands, sprayed Heather with it.

"Revenge is so sweet!" I managed to say seriously before I became a fit of giggle. Jayden started to laugh with me and soon, everyone was just standing there in the water, laughing our heads off. 'This is the most fun we've had in a long time!' I thought as I continued to laugh with the others.

Once we had finished our laughing fit, we all went deeper into the water and dived underwater. Opening my eyes, I could see Conor and Isobel playing with each other, Amy and Dylan trying to catch fish, Heather doing handstands and Jayden was right next to me, smiling as he watched our siblings having fun.

He looked over to me and smiled even more, if that is even possible. He signaled to go up to the surface and I nodded. When we were at the surface, he said,

"Emily, they are growing up. They need to know."

I sighed and replied,

"I know! They do need to know about Dad, but-"

Just then, our sibling came up to the surface and, hearing our conversation, Dylan asked,

"What about Dad? Isn't he dead?"

Jayden looked over to me slowly. I nodded to him and he sighed.

"No. Dad isn't dead. He never died. He faked his death and went into hiding"

Confused, Isobel frowned and asked,

"Where is he hiding, then?"

I smiled and whispered,

"He is right here on this island,"

"WAIT, WHAT!!!"

Conor shouted as he looked around feverishly, hoping to get a glimpse of our Dad.

Jayden laughed and, patting Conor's head, he said,

"Don't shout Conor. He's not around here, anyway. To find him, we have to go on an adventure!"

Our siblings all ran back up the beach to our house, all the while screaming,

"ADVENTURE!"

I laughed at their antics and beside me, Jayden whispered under his breath,

"We're coming Dad. Just you wait,"

He turned to me and I smiled warmly at him. Then, I started to run up the beach to our house to get ready, while screaming out behind me,

"LAST ONE THERE IS A ROTTEN EGG!!!!"

Looking forward, I thought,

'Time for an adventure!'
