"Life doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints, it takes and it takes and it takes." -Aaron Burr (Hamilton)
Holly had always believed that those who did good would be rewarded. That was one of the reasons why she was able to stand in front of her school, expressing her opinion.
She had always believed in karma, which led her on a path of kind words and even kinder actions. She thought that maybe she could change the world, or the world would grant her wish for peace.
She had always believed, until the shootings and the mass killings. For when she watched the news, heard the gunshots and cries, she knew.
No amount of good actions could save you from death. Life doesn't choose who to crush, not between sinners or saints, the righteous or the needy.
You decide unintentionally by your actions and morals.
"Death doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints, it takes and it takes and it takes." -Aaron Burr (Hamilton)

You can decide what this is about. It works for anything really, anything that is happening that you see on the news.
I love this song from Hamilton, mainly because it is sung with so much emotion.
I hope you enjoyed reading this, and have a good morning/day/afternoon/night/evening wherever you are!
