Hello! I wrote this and it was inspired by the image above. It might be a bit sad, but I hope you enjoy!
Dear my beloved,
As children, we played together, with strangers and friends. We met each other at the oak tree everyday, and planned the games and mischief for the day. Each day was never the same. Your beautiful mind was overflowing with never-ending ideas for fun.
When we grew up to teenagers, we went to the same school and did our homework together. We sat under the oak tree and told each other who we like from our classes. You had always told me you like no one, for you heart had already been sold to someone. I always asked who, but had never told you that you had taken my heart away. The answer to my question was always, 'Not telling!'
As adults, we kissed each other as we stood under the oak tree. We promised each other to love the other unconditionally and we got married there. Our days were spent with each other and the tree.
Growing older, we still went to the tree. We showed it to our children and to our grandchildren. They are alive and happy, and they too visit the tree with their friends and the one they love.
Now, as I sit at this tree, looking at your grave, I know that there is no other place I would want to be now that I am coming to visit you. The tree was where we began, and where we end. The tree brought us together. We were connected by the tree.
My final wish is to be buried next to you and our tree.
I will see you soon,
Your husband
