Hello! This is what the title says, a story from a painting. Hope you enjoy! :)
Alexandra walked slowly down the hill to the river. The water glistened with rays of sunlight as Alexandra stared into it's deep blue depths. With the castle behind her, Alexandra sat down next to the river and took her shoes off. Setting them to the side, she let her feet hang into the water as her mind drifted to the thought of having to get married to a prince. She didn't mind having an arranged marriage with a prince, for she herself was a princess. What she didn't like though, had brought her to this glistening, deep blue river. All the princes were annoying and stuck up. They didn't care about the people in their kingdoms. All they cared about was their wealth. The water calmed these raging thoughts in Alexandra's head and soon she was just sitting there at the river and sighed.
"Nothing can help me now, for I am a princess meant to be married to a prince." Alexandra;s voice was calm as she stood up and returned to the castle behind her.
Years later, Alexandra returned. She was now married to a nice prince, and she had traveled to the river to think.
Hope you liked it! Comments are welcome. Sorry for not updating in a while
