"...I hate Snowball, I hate this game, I hate exercise, I hate walking, I hate everyone and everything..." Chloe grumbled, literally dragging herself along the sidewalk. She was too tired to walk anymore. Shaking with her next step, she dropped. Her tail lashing in a bitter rage, the tabby yowled, "Why god why?!"
Panting heavily, Chloe laid there on her stomach on the sidewalk. The rising sun warmed her back, much to her relief considering all she's gone through today so far. Owner tried giving her diet cat food again, there was only a measly tuna fish sandwich in the refrigerator which she still ate by the way, kidnapped from her own home by a psychotic rabbit and now being forced to play his stupid game!
Rolling over onto her back, Chloe closed her eyes as she basked in the sun's glow. Honestly, she could care less if anyone saw her like this right now. She was tired, she needed a break. She needed this. A soft purr rumbled in the tabby cat's throat.
A faint noise could be heard in the distance. Keeping her eyes close, Chloe flicked her ears in the direction of the sound. It sounded like it was getting closer. It also sounded like screaming and yelling. As the noise got louder, the tabby cat was able to identify it as belonging to Mel and Buddy. Chloe frowned at that. What in the world were those two hollering about now?
Intrigued, Chloe sat up just in time for Mel and Buddy to run right into her, screaming at the top of their lungs, "RUN!"
