The inside of the animal control van was filled with the sounds of gnawing. Yes, you heard me right. Snowball, the fearless leader of the Flushed Pets and the brave superhero Captain Snowball, was currently chewing his way through the bars of his cage. As far as he was concerned, there was nothing that he couldn't handle.
Well, it appears the bunny rabbit had finally met his match.
"Ugh! These bars must be made of kryptonite or something!" Snowball exclaimed, backing away from the cage door. Plopping himself down on the floor, the white rabbit massaged his sore jaw muscles with both paws. His teeth were so numb from gnawing on the metal. To be honest, he wasn't going to be surprised if he had somehow chipped a tooth.
The van suddenly lurched, causing Snowball to fall flat on his face. He assumed they had either hit a speed bump or a pothole. Who knows, maybe they ran over a dead body. Getting up to his feet, the rabbit realized right then and there that the animal control van was no longer moving. And it was turned off, he couldn't hear the engine. That could only mean one thing.
They had arrived at the pound.
"Oh, this is not good. Not good at all," Snowball muttered, his ears drooping. He rubbed his paws nervously as shivers ran down his spine. He was a goner- wait, no he wasn't! The rabbit mentally slapped himself in the face. What was he doing, acting scared? He was Captain Snowball, he wasn't scared of anything. Breaking out of the pound was as easy as walking. Cracking his knuckles, the white bunny murmured, "Right, let's do this-"
"Here you go little guy," one of the animal control officers spoke, interrupting Snowball. Apparently while the rabbit had been in his own little world, the officers had taken him out of the van and into the building. Snowball was now sitting on a concrete floor in a cage. The door shut behind him and got locked.
Snowball was trapped, or was he?
