"Hu!" Daisy cried out ecstatically. Her tail wagged a hundred miles per hour. Equally delighted to see her, the young tiger Hu bounded over to the small dog. Gently tackling the Shih Tzu to the pavement, he mewed and purred like a kitten. Laughing happily, Daisy hugged the tiger as she yipped, "Boy am I glad to see you Hu!"

"Hey, did you hear something?" a voice asked. Daisy gasped. It was Derick. He and quite possibly more Flushed Pets were coming. The Shih Tzu quickly scrambled to her feet and ducked behind a dumpster. Hu followed her just in the nick of time as Derick and a mangy cat arrived at the entrance of the alley. Glancing around, the crocodile shrugged his shoulders and walked away with the cat as he murmured, "Thought I heard something."

"That was a close call," Daisy mumbled, creeping out of her hiding place. Hu followed with a soft mew. He leaned down and licked the dog's face. Giggling, Daisy remarked, "Oh you sweet baby boy. What are you doing out here? Did Snowball force you to play the game too?" Hu shook his head before giving off a quiet roar. Understanding it, the Shih Tzu felt touched as she repeated, "You were worried about your mama and came to find me?" Hu nodded his head.

"Come here sweet boy," Daisy stated, holding out her paws in anticipation for another hug. Hu didn't need to be told twice as he leaned down, allowing the dog to wrap her arms around his face. He draped his own paws over her back in a protective and loving embrace. Daisy couldn't help but smile.

They may be lost in the city but at least they had each other.
