"Ah, feel that nice breeze," Tiberius purred, closing his eyes. He was perched atop the edge of the rooftop. Standing near the doorway that led up there, Chloe didn't dare look. Her fur was standing on end. Her eyes squeezed shut with fear, the cat hissed, "Hurry up and look for Mel!"

"We're working on it Chloe! There's four sides to an apartment building you know! Not our fault you selected the tallest one on the block," Buddy pointed out. He muttered that last part under his breath so the fat tabby cat couldn't hear. Peering over the eastern edge of the building, he began searching.

"Anything yet?" Chloe yowled from where she stood. Groaning as he saw nothing, Buddy replied, "Nothing." The dachshund heard the cat sigh heavily before she spoke again, "This was a bad idea on my part. Come on guys, let's get back to the elevator. I imagine the people downstairs are gonna call the police on us at any second."

"Wait, I see the Flushed Pets!" Tiberius cried. Racing over to where the hawk stood, Buddy yipped, "Great, we're gonna be trapped up here." Looking down alongside the older pet, the dachshund squinted when he saw a large group of the Flushed Pets running around a different block across the street. And at the front running for his life was Mel.

"It's Mel! He's in trouble!" Buddy yelped. Cracking open one eye, Chloe meowed, "What are we supposed to do, save him?! We're outnumbered!" At that moment, the trio could hear police sirens down below. Facepawing, the tabby cat grumbled, "And now we're going to jail."

"Guys," Tiberius chimed in, getting everyone's attention. Pointing at the fire escape, he continued, "I have a radical idea."
