Chapter 7: Trust

{Hannah's POV}

HA! Let's see how they like that! Neither of them have come out of the closet yet. This should shed some light on things won't they.

{Joey's POV}

I wanted to run out of the restaurant, but I stayed... for Daniel.

Daniel: Joey? Are you ok?

Joey: Actually, not really.

Daniel: What's wrong?

Joey: It's just... I wasn't planning on coming out for a long time. A year at least. I need to gain self confidence first, and I haven't exactly found it yet. It's so stressful because I get a lot of comments on my videos saying "Joey come out already" and I can't yet. I feel trapped. And I hope, in a year or two, I'll be ready.

Daniel: It's ok. I understand. I feel trapped too. But luckily I have a connection with magazines/tabloids that can get rid of the picture, and make it private for only people that you want to see it.

Joey: Really?

Daniel: Of course! Anything for you Joey.

Joey: Can you make only Shane, Cat, Tyler, Meghan, Zoe, Louise, Sawyer, Stacy, Lisa, Luke, Justine, Connor and Ingrid see it?

Daniel: Absolutely.

Joey: You're the best boyfriend ever, you know that?

Daniel: Yeah. I have that affect on people.

I smiled, leaned in and kissed him.

Daniel: Bye baby! Love you!

Joey: Bye Dan! Love you too!

He dropped me off and I realized that I didn't vlog! I should do it now!

"Well guys! So I'm back from dinner, and it was quite delitchus if I do say so myself! Haha sorry I forgot to vlog at the restaurant, I kind of forgot. You know, I guess this memory tank it not as full as it used to be, shoooot. And if you're wondering who I went out to dinner with, I went out with Sawyer. No, not like that... But anyways. I know this was short, but I'm a sleepy boy. I'll see you all tomorrow, good damn bye!"

I shut my camera off and put it away. Then I hear Meghan come down the stairs. (He still lives with Meghan in this ok? Ok) She yawned.

Meghan: Hey Joey. Where were you?

Joey: Just out. I had dinner with a friend.

Meghan: Who?

Joey: Sawyer.

Liar Joey... liar. You have to tell her.

Meghan: Oh. Ok. I'm going to bed, good nigh Jo...

Joey: Actually Meghan, I need to tell you something.

Meghan: Can this wait till morning?

Joey: No... this is important.

Meghan: *yawn* ok.

She sat on the couch next to me.

Joey: Meghan, I'm telling you this because I trust you and you're my best friend. I'm about to tell you the biggest secret I've ever had. Can I trust you not to tell anyone?

Meghan: Of course Joey! That's what friends are for!

I sat there in silence, thinking on how I will break this to her.

Meghan: Well Joey, what is it?

Joey: Meghan...

Here it goes... No turning back now.

Joey: I'm gay.

Meghan: Really?!

Joey: Yes. And I wasn't out with Sawyer, I was with my boyfriend Daniel.

Meghan: AHH! This is so cute! Joey I'm so proud of you!

She hugged me. And I hugged back.

Meghan: Are you going to come out to your fans?

Joey: Not yet. I'm not ready.

Meghan: It's ok. I understand. But thank you for telling me this Joey! And I promise, your secret is safe with me.

She patted my shoulder and went upstairs to bed.

Meghan: Goodnight Joey.

Joey: Yeah, goodnight Meghan.

I sat on the couch with Wolf thinking about all the wonderful people I have in my life. An amazing boyfriend, and loving friends in the YouTube committee. I guys I'm a lucky boy aren't I?
