Chapter 18: I Promise, But He Doesn't

{Joey's POV}

Here we go... No turning back now.

Joey: Daniel. You're my rock, my sun, my moon, my star. I would do anything for you. I love you, and that's why I feel it's appropriate for me to do this.

I get down on one knee and pull out a small box.

Daniel: Oh my god Joey...

Joey: Daniel, will you...

{Daniel's POV}

I can't believe this is happening to me! WHAT IS LIFE RIGHT NOW?

Joey: Daniel, will you accept this promise ring?

A promise ring?! Oh well, better than nothing. But don't worry, Joey will get another surprise... in about a month. ;)

Daniel: Oh Joey.. it's beautiful! Of course I'll accept it!

Joey smiled at me and placed the ring on my left middle finger.

Jett: Mommy! Did Joey just propose?!

Joey chuckled under his breath, as did I.

Joey's Mom: Ummm, yes sweetie he did!

Jett: YAY!

Jett ran up to us both and gave us a giant hug, now I know what I must do.

{Joey's POV}

I feel bad now because now Jett thinks Daniel and I are getting married. Well, I guess Daniel will be getting a small surprise in about a month or so. ;)

Joey: Uhh yes Jett! We're getting married!

Jett: I can't wait to be the ring bear!

All of us laughed.

Joey: Haha, ummm little bro? I think you mean ring bearer?

Jett: Yeah yeah yeah... whatever.

Joey: Ah! Rude!

Daniel lightly tapped my shoulder as he chucked.

Joey: Ok, back to where I was. I am giving you this promise ring, because I want you to know I love you. And I hope that, somewhere in the future, we do get married. Can you promise me that we will always be together... till death do us part?

Daniel: I promise.

I pulled him in for a hug, but he slammed his lips into mine.

Nichole: Oh my god this is WAY too cute! Mind if I take a picture?

Joey: Umm, I guess? What for?

Nichole: My Instagram! And I also want to keep one, because it's so cute!

Joey: Wow Nichole. Haha I suppose you can.

I got on one knee and made a weird face, as did he. I just hope that a "certain someone" isn't following my sister on Instagram.

{X's POV}

I was just sitting at home, watching TV, then i got bored and decided to scroll through my social medias, because why not. I was scrolling through Instagram when I see Joey's sister posted a picture

"@nikkigra6: Look at my little bro with his "boo" <3 so proud of him! @joeygraceffa @misterpreda"

It was a pic of him and this "Daniel" and Joey was on his knee giving him a ring. I guess he forgot that I follow his sister on Instagram and that she follows me. Oh well, I'm not the jealous type... Ok fine... Maybe I am. I will get him to love me, even if it means that someone has to die...
