Chapter 14: Missing You

{Daniel's POV}

Break ups are very hard if you've ever experienced it with someone that you love. But, like I said, I'm trying to move on, and I have! I found a new man! His name is Mitch. We've been talking for a month now and we finally decided to go steady. He has a YouTube channel called Superfruit. He's sweet, super attractive, and very funny! I'm meeting him tonight for our date. I decided to tweet about it, because why not.

"@misterpreda: Hanging out with my new best friend @mitchgrassi tonight! Gonna be fun! :)"

Of course I haven't come out yet, so I may have stretched the truth that we're "hanging out" but, no one needs to know that.

{Joey's POV}

Shane and I were cuddling on his couch watching Big Brother when my phone went off... a tweet from Daniel...

"@misterpreda: Hanging out with my new best friend @mitchgrassi tonight! Gonna be fun! :)"

Suddenly a wave of jealousy ran over me. I know FOR SURE that they're not hanging out, they're dating. But why am I jealous? I have a wonderful boyfriend. Suddenly, I saw Shane look at me, he could tell I was troubled.

Shane: You ok baby?

Joey: I don't know... I just saw this tweet from Daniel and... I guess I got a little jealous...

Shane: Jealous huh? Well I can fix that.

He leaned close to me and touched his nose to mine. He laid me down and he was hovering on top of me, starring at me with his big, gorgeous eyes. He started kissing my next until he found my sweet spot, making me moan softly. He moved back up and starting kissing me. Our lips moved in perfect harmony. He broke apart for air.

Shane: Jealous of Daniel anymore?

Joey: Daniel who?

We both laughed and sat back up, holding each other in our arms.

Joey: I love you Shaney.

I pecked him on the lips.

Shane: I love you too Jojo.

{Daniel's POV}

It's time for my date with Mitch! I have on a blue button down with black skinny jeans. And I did my hair in a certain way I always do. I heard a knock on my door.

Daniel: Come in!

Mitch: Hey!

Daniel: Hey Mitch!

We hugged for a little bit. Something distracted me though.. he smelled just like Joey... DANIEL PULL YOURSELF TOGETER!

Mitch: Soo? What are we doing for dinner?

Daniel: Going to my favorite place! Earth Café!

Mitch: Awesome! I love that place!

Daniel: Well then, let's go!

I grabbed his hand and we were on our way. When we got there, we both ordered and sat down to talk.

Daniel: So, tell me about you.

Mitch: Well, as you know, I have a YouTube channel called Superfruit with my best friend Scott. I'm also in an A Capella group called Pentatonix.

Daniel: Really?! That's awesome! You know, Joey has a YouTube channel too....

I trailed off when I realized what I just said.

Mitch: Oh you mean Joey Graceffa?! Yes I'm aware, he's my good friend! But, what does that have to do with what I just said?

Daniel: Nothing, nothing at all.. I'm sorry. It's just Joey and I have a history and we just had a rough break up...

Mitch: I'm sorry Daniel. It's ok, I understand. Once Scott and I tried to date and we decided we would be better off just friends. But we're all good now! So, I think you're really cute.

I started to blush... Just like Joey used to when I complimented him... Daniel! Get over him! It's all changed.

Daniel: Really? Well, I think you're gorgeous.

Mitch: Thank youuu!

He grabbed my hand and then I felt butterfly's. you know what, maybe I am over Joey... beautiful, gorgeous Joey...

Mitch: I think I'm starting to warm up to you.

Daniel: I think I am too.

We leaned in and shared our first kiss. It was very magical.

Mitch: Thinking about Joey anymore?

Daniel: Joey who?

We both laughed and shared each others company...
When in reality, I was thinking how that was nothing like how Joey used to kiss me...
