Chapter 32: Confessions

{Daniel's POV}

You know, this whole "possibly having sex with my ex girlfriend" thing is really eating at me. I don't want mine and Joey's relationship to be made up with lies. Suddenly, Hannah texted me.

H: Hey baby <3 where are you?

Shit! She's still at the house!

D: Hannah! Do you remember anything that happened last night?!

H: Yeah :) I gotta say, are you SURE you're gay? Because last night, you were amazing ;)

D: Hannah, did we have sex?

H: Yes! You don't remember?

Oh no...

D: I was drunk, I didn't mean anything that happened. I wasn't thinking at all, I was full of alcohol. Do you understand that it was unintentional?

H: Yeah :/ I understand, I guess I'll leave your house.

D: Ok, bye.

She didn't reply after that. I was on my way to Shane's to pick up Joey.

{Joey's POV}

Joey: So... I really tried to... you know..

Shane: Yes Joey, you did.

Joey: Shane, I feel so guilty. I really didn't mean to do that to you.

Shane: It's ok. I understand, you we're tequila Joey. With 4 bottles of tequila in you.

I just laughed at him, when there was a knock on Shane's door. He ran over to open it, and there was standing Daniel.

Daniel: Joey! Are you ok!?

Joey: Better now that you're here.

I ran over and hugged him and kissed his cheek.

Daniel: Uhhh Joey? Can you sit down for a second. You too Shane.

All three of us went over to Shane's couch.

Daniel: There's something very important that you need to know about last night...

Joey: Oh... you know?...

Daniel: Know what?

Joey: Nothing nothing... move along.

Daniel: Anyways, so Joey. Last night, I was extremely drunk. I didn't remember anything that happened this morning when I woke up. But, I woke up with Hannah, naked, next to me.

I just starred at him.

Joey: Dan? What are you trying to say?

Daniel jumped up from the couch. I could tell he was close to tears.

Daniel: I FUCKED MY EX GIRLFRIEND JOEY! There... I said it.

He walked away slowly... All I could do was sit there in shock. Shane just sat next to me, with his hand on my leg, Shane leaned in towards me and whispered

Shane: Pst, Joey. Cut him some slack. He already feels guilty about this whole damn thing. He didn't mean anything, just like you got all drunk, so did he.

Joey: I was already going to forgive him, I understand. But thank Shane, for being there for me.

I kissed his cheek and walked over to Daniel.

Joey: Look Daniel, I forgive you.

Daniel: Look Joey! I didn't mean it! I... wait... what?

Joey: I forgive you. I understand that you were drunk and you didn't mean to do anything. And... I have something to tell you too... I tried to fuck Shane.

{Daniel's POV}

Granted, I already know this happened, but I didn't want Joey to know that Shane told me. That would be very bad.

Daniel: Oh... you did.

Joey: Yes, but I was drunk as well. And... and... and...

Daniel: Joey joey... it's ok. I forgive you.

Joey: You do?

Daniel: Yes. I do.

Shane: I now pronounce you husband and husband! KISS YOUR GROOM!

Joey blushed, as usual. And I just laughed at him.

Daniel: Ha ha ha... very funny Shane. But not yet. In a few months we'll be saying I do.

Joey: That's right! Well Shane, we gotta go ok? I'll see you around?

Shane: Ok! Bye guys!

Joey & Daniel: Bye!

As we walked out of Shane's house, we grabbed each others hands. I can't believe I was so lucky to get a man as gorgeous and understanding as Daniel. I don't know what I'd do without him.
