Chapter 16: Family Visits

{Joey's POV}

I wonder if time apart for Daniel and I was what we needed, because ever since we for back together, we've been inseparable. We did just about everything together... and I mean everything. ;) but today is a big day, my family is coming up to visit today!! I can't wait to see them again!

Daniel: Come on Joey! We gotta get to the airport!

Joey: Coming! Are you sure you wanna come along to pick them up?

Daniel: Of course! They gotta meet me sooner or later right?

Joey: True. But, what about my dad..?

Daniel: Joey, don't let him get to you ok? I'll be here for you. Besides, your mom and sister support you right?

Joey: Yes, but I would like it if my whole family supported me, not just a portion.

Daniel: I'm sure it's going to be fine. Come on! We're going to be late!

He grabbed my hand as dragged me to the car.

We parked in the parking lot, I looked at Joey because he looked like he was about to puke.

Daniel: Baby? Are you ok?

Joey: I'm just really nervous...

Daniel: I'll be here babe. He can't hurt you as long as I'm around.

Joey hugged me very tightly.

Joey: I'm so glad I have you, my little Daniboy.

We kissed, then Joey shouted

Joey: OH SHIT! WE GOTTA GET INSIDE!

We both ran inside. I was searching for my family, all of the sudden I hear someone yell my name

X: Joey!

My little brother Jett came up to me and gave me the biggest, warmest hug in the world.

Joey: Hey my little man! How are you?!

Jett: Good now that I see you!

Joey: Awe Jett!

Nichole: Wow, way to greet your sister!

Joey: Hi Nichole!

She gave me a hug, then my mom and I made eye contact.

Joey: Mom!

Joey's Mom: Hello my darling boy!

I absolutely love getting hugs from my mother. She has a power, and it's magical hugs.

Joey: So mom, where's dad?

Joey's Mom: I'm afraid he's not here.

Good.

Joey: Awe, that's too bad. How come?

Joey's Mom: Well, you see dear, he didn't really like the fact that you're gay... so he doesn't want to see you..

Joey: Oh... I see...

Nichole: Hey, don't listen to dad ok? But on a more positive note, who's your lucky catch over there?!

Daniel was standing over there looking cute as always. I started walking closer to him.

Joey: Mom, Nichole, Jett, this is my boyfriend Daniel.

Joey's Mom: Hello dear! Nice to meet you!

She gave him a hug.

Daniel: Hi! Nice to meet you too! You must be Nichole?

Joey's Mom: Oh stop it you tease!

He made her laugh. Good first impressions on the family... check.

Nichole: Ehem... I'm Nichole.

Daniel: Haha I figured.

She gave him a hand shake... oh Nichole.

Jett: I'm Jett!!

Daniel: Hey little man!

He gave Jett a high five. This is going WAY better than I thought. I whipped out my camera and started to vlog.

"Ahhh good day everyone! So, I'm picking up the fam from the airport, featuring mr. Daniel! "Hello there!" With me I got my sis Nichole, my lovely mother, and my bro Jett! "No camera Joey!" Jett, I can record you if I wanna! It's my damn vloggity vlog vlog. Shoot, well I guess I'll catch up with you guys back at the house shall we? We frickin shall."

Nichole: Joey you're a completely different person on camera.

Joey: I know. I'm more fabulous.

Everyone laughed. We proceeded to walk towards my car. Daniel and I locked hands on the right, Jett came up to my left and grabbed my hand as well. Today is a pretty good day... so far.
