Chapter 23: Who Are You?

{Nicole's POV}

I can't believe that mom did that... I thought she was gonna cool it with drinking, at least for Jett's sake. Joey, Daniel and I were sitting in the waiting room when I see Joey whip out a notebook and a pencil.

Nicole: Hey bro, whatcha up to?

Joey: Oh nothing. I'm gonna include this in my book I'm in the process of. writing.

Nicole: You're writing a book?! That's awesome!

Joey: Do you watch my vlogs woman?! Ugh! The nerve!

Daniel and I both chucked at him.

Nicole: Do you know what it's going to be called yet?

Joey: Uhhh, no. Not yet. But I've been thinking about it.

Daniel: Are you going to reveal... you know...

Nicole: Reveal you're gay?

Daniel: Yeah... That.

Joey: I think so. I don't want to do just a "coming out" video. I want do portray it in my book. But I won't say I have a boyfriend. I don't want my fans knowing that... at least not yet.

Daniel: So, you're not gonna tell them about me?

Joey: Ehhhh no. But I'm sure they won't figure anything out. But don't worry! When the timing is right honeyboo, I'll tell them.

Daniel: Sounds good babe.

They gave each other a peck on the lips. I hate to be a total fangirl but... THEY'RE SO CUTE!

{Joey's POV}

I gave Daniel a peck when a nurse walked in.

Nurse: Is anyone here for Jett Graceffa?

Joey: Yes. That's us.

Nurse: Follow me.

The nurse led us down a hallway, filled with diseased, dying patients. Finally she brought us up to Jett's room. He was out cold with bruised and a goose egg on his head.

Joey: Is he going to be ok?

Nurse: Yes. He's suffering a mild concussion. He should come to in a little while.

Nicole: Thank you.

Nicole: No problem, let me know if you need anything alright?

Joey: Ok.

She walked out, turning around winking at me. Ugh... whore.

Nicole: Do you guys wanna stay here with him?

Daniel: Joey, you and Nicole stay. I'm gonna head out for a minute. I'll be back baby ok?

Joey: Do you have to leave?

Daniel: I'll be back boo. I'm gonna get some goody goodies.

Joey: Hey! No stealing my words!

He gave me a puppy dog face. The things this boy does to me.

Joey: But, it's cute when you do it so I guess it's ok.

Daniel: Yay! I'll be back in 20 minutes ok?

Joey: Ok!

He kissed me on the lips and headed out.

It's been 10 minutes and Jett is still out cold. I'm starting to get a little nervous.

Joey: Nicole?

Nicole: Yes Joey?

Joey: What if he never wakes up?!

Nicole: Now Joey, don't get nervous. I'm sure he's ok. All we can do is think positive and maybe...

All of the sudden we heard shuffling of the sheets of Jett's bed. Our heads snapped towards him. He was awake.

Nicole: Jetty!! Hey! You're awake!!

Jett: Hello Nicole, my head hurts like it was chopped by a ninja turtle!

We both chuckled.

Joey: Hey Jetty! How are you feeling?

He didn't respond to me.

Joey: What's the matter Jett?

Still no response. All he did was stare at me with a blank look on his face.

Joey: Jett?

Jett: How do you know my name? Who are you?

My heart sunk to my stomach. My own little brother doesn't know who I am...
