Chapter 11: Snooping

{Joey's POV}

Daniel has been acting really weird lately and I'm not sure why. Every time I ask to hang out his answer is "Yeah sure! Make sure to bring your phone!" I'm not really sure why he asks me to bring my phone with me every time. I mean lets be honest here... I would go anywhere without my phone. Today I'm going to ask why he keeps asking me that.

Daniel: Hey Jojo!

He gives me a peck on the lips.

Joey: Hey Dan. Can I ask you something?

Daniel: Sure. What is it?

Joey: How come every time I ask if you want to hang out, you tell me to bring my phone?

Daniel: Umm... uhumm.. because I want to make sure... if I leave... and something happens to you... you can contact me..?

Joey: Ummm ok? Now why don't you tell me what's REALLY going in here?

{Daniel's POV}

Oh shit. He's getting suspicious. That excuse was the lamest, most untruthful thing I've ever said. Especially to the one that I love. Ah, I know what I'll tell him.

Daniel: Ok. I'll tell you. So I talked to my agent and he's seen your short films "Storytellers" and he thinks you could make it on a TV show! I want you to bring your phone because if/when he calls you, I want to be there.

Joey: Really?! This is amazing!

He pulled me in for a hug. But I feel extremely guilty. I just told him a big, fat lie, right to his face. But now I know I have to talk to my agent. That'll be for another time though. Right now I must know what is going on with Joey and Shane.

Daniel: Yeah! So... what kind of video did you and Shane shoot yesterday?

Joey: We did the Shoey Tumblr Tag!

Daniel: Ohh. What is the "Tumblr Tag"?

Joey: You don't know what that is?

Daniel: Uhhhh no. Incase you didn't notice, I'm not a YouTuber, so I don't understand your lingo sometimes.

Joey just laughed at me. I have to admit, his laugh is damn cute.

Joey: Hey! We should make a collab sometime!

Daniel: What's a collab?

Joey: Really Daniel, really.

Daniel: Told you! No YouTube lingo!

Joey: Honey... Collab... short for collaboration...

Daniel: Wow... On a scale of 1-10 on how dumb I sounded... I give myself a 110.

Joey: Haha you're cute sometimes, you know that?

Daniel: Yes I do.

He leaned in and kissed me.

Joey: Well, I gotta run up to my room for something. I'll be back in about 5ish minutes ok?

Daniel: Yup!

He ran upstairs. Then I found what I was looking for, his phone. Bingo. I tried to figure out his passcode, then I figured it out, it was 3164, which was dani. How sweet! Now time to figure out what's going on between them.

{Joey's POV}

I ran upstairs because its Daniel's birthday tomorrow, but I want to give him his present today. It's a promise ring. Because I know he loves me, and I love him. And I know he would never lie to me or hurt me. I looked at my camera and decided I haven't vlogged today so I picked up my camera and started to record.

"Ahhhh good day everyone! So it is another bright, shinning, shimmering day here in Los Angeles. Alrighty! So... nothing much going on today... just hanging out with TV famous DANIEL PREDA! He DM'd me on Twitter and asked if we wanted to shoot a video together and OF COURSE I SAID YES! I mean... TV star.. obviously! I know, let's go scare him!"

I turned off my camera and walked down the stairs really quietly so he wouldn't hear me. Perfect! He was on his phone!... Wait a minute... THAT'S MY PHONE!

Joey: Daniel?

Daniel: JOEY!!! I was just.. just..

Joey: Just snooping on my phone! Were you reading my texts?!

Daniel: No! Of course not!

I picked up my phone and I saw that he was reading texts between me and Shane. How could he?!?!

Joey: Daniel?!? How could you do this to me?

Daniel: I don't know! I guess I just got a little jealous....

Joey: You were jealous of Shane?!? Ugh! Daniel I can't believe you would go behind my back and snoop! I though you loved me... I though you'd never lie to me... So now I suppose the "agent" story was a big fat lie?!

He stayed silent as I saw a tear role down his cheek.

Joey: Never have I ever been so angry in my life!! You know what?! Since now I realize I can't trust you when I hang out with my male YouTube friends... we're through...

Daniel: What?!

Joey: You heard me! I don't even want to look at you...

Daniel: But.. Joey...

Joey: No! GET OUT!

He ran out of my house. When he left I broke down crying. I can't believe he would do this to me. I needed to talk to someone.

J: Hey :'( Can I talk to you?

X: Hey Joey. Sure! What's wrong?

J: Daniel and I broke up... :( </3

X: Joey... I'm so sorry.

J: Do you think you can come over Shane?

S: I'm on my way.
