Black.
All he could see was black. Xiao felt himself wake up and open his eyes. As he raised his head, he was met with an unfamiliar area. It was an alleyway. A not so bright one, to be exact. The adepti got up slowly and looked around.' What the hell is this place? '
His mind was filled with questions, as he tried to process the current situation. He shook his head and looked around. He found a path that led out of the alleyway and decided to see where he really ended up in.
As he walked out, however, he found himself in a completely different place. This was not Teyvat, for sure.Buildings and skyscrapers, cars and people dressed in a very different way. Everything was new to him. He noticed some people staring at him, specifically his attire. They thought it was some kind of weird cosplay, as they never saw this kind of clothes.
The strangers also had different shapes of their body. One had a head of a fish, the other was a literal angel, the third one had chameleon features and so on...
Of course, Xiao felt really nervous, so he ran back to the alleyway.' So...I'm in a different world. Different buildings, strange moving...boxes and different types of clothes everyone is wearing. My attire is absurd here, I need to blend in, incase if someone thinks I'm crazy or something. But first...I need to make sure no one sees me. '
The adepti carefully thought his plan out, as he peaked through to see if anyone was on sight. Luckily, the street was clear, for now at least, and he could move. He slowly and carefully walked out of the alleyway and quickly looked around to find anything that could be of help to him. He noticed a small shop filled with what seemed to be "casual" clothes on his right, so he headed there.
As he opened the door, the small bell at the top of it rang, which startled Xiao. He looked up to see the bell and tried not to mind it, thinking it's what the mortals do in this world.
A girl raised her head from the desk and locked eyes with the immortal. She had short dark brown wavy hair and aqua blue eyes with an iris shape similar to Xiao's. She was tan-skinned and had small white wings on her back. She was a little taller than Xiao, 4-5 cm difference. She wore a casual pastel blueish-green sleeveless t-shirt that faded to bright turquoise at the bottom, dark blue jeans and white sneakers. By her appearance, it was easy to tell that she was a young adult, around early-mid 20s." Oh, hello there! Welcome to my shop, feel free to look around. "
She smiled as she turned her attention back to her desk, seemingly typing something on a device unfamiliar to Xiao. She found his attire quite amusing, she really tried her best not to snicker about it as she regained her composure.
Xiao, meanwhile, was already looking to find the best clothes for himself. A specific set of clothes caught his eye.First, it was a white jacket, which had a mark he found cool on the right sleeve. The jacket had a couple of teal colored stripes at the bottom and had black features, too.
Second, was a black sleeveless t-shirt with a turtleneck. The texture of the shirt was really good and the shirt itself was soft to touch.
Then come the dark grey pants with teal stripes. The pants also included a belt, perfect for his vision. The pants matched the jacket.
The next thing that peaked Xiao's interest were the black leather fingerless gloves. They matched the t-shirt.
Last but not least, the sneakers. They were black and had white features, mostly at the front. The adepti definitely took a liking to this outfit, as if it was made for him. The young woman noticed Xiao staring at the outfit, so she assumed he liked it. She made her way closer to him and tapped his shoulder from behind.
