Chapter 2

Soap was the first one up and he walked out of his room down the hallway to see you sleeping wrapped in a blanket in Ghost's arms and him sitting up right with you in hand . soap chuckled and he decided to take a picture of it with his phone . He giggled to himself until he saw Ghost's eyes open and he immediately turned and walked into the kitchen . Ghost fixed his mask a bit and he looked down at you to see that you were still sleeping . He got up very carefully groaning a bit as he did so . He was a bit sore from sleeping in a sitting position all night but he's been through worse pains.he held you tightly and he walked into the kitchen and stepped next to soap and he grabbed a pack of crackers and he walked out of the kitchen . He didn't care that you were 14 because you've been through so much shit . soap made coffee and waited for the water to boil. Ghost sat down on the couch again and he set the crackers down on the seat next to him and he looked down at you . when you were asleep he cleaned his mask , getting rid of the blood that was on it and he didn't get out of his gear and slept in it all night with you in hand . It wasn't the first time he's slept in his gear so it wasn't really a problem to him . He lifted a part of the blanket away from your face and he took his pointer finger and he tapped your nose lightly and gently . you wiggled a bit in your sleep and you sneezed , opening your eyes very slowly to see the skull masked man .
'' gotta wake up , i got you some food .''
You yawned and he set you down next to him and he handed you the pack of crackers . you didn't know what it was so you unwrapped the packaging and held one cracker in your hand . you looked up at Ghost and he gave you a little nod basically telling you to try it . you looked down at the cracker and you put it in your mouth and you gave a face that made him chuckle.
'' ritz crackers are the best ones we got .''
GHost chuckled as he watched you eat more of the crackers .
He got up and grabbed you a bottle of water and he opened it and handed it to you . you took the water from him and you took a sip and gave him a tiny smile.
'' thank you .''
You said quietly .
Ghost nodded and he went to the kitchen leaving you to eat your crackers in peace . soap looked over at Ghost and gave him a nudge .
'' how was the kid ?.''
He asked while taking a sip of his coffee .
'' she slept through the night well.''
Ghost said , his deep raspy voice filling the growing silence .
'' look at this .''
Soap giggled while taking out his phone , showing Ghost the picture of you and him .
'' johnny....''
Ghost said quietly yet sternly .
'' oh come on .''
Soap said while grinning .
Ghost looked back and he saw you had finished your crackers and water and you laid down on the couch .
Ghost shrugged off soap and he went over back to you and sat down in the open couch square next to you . Price and the others soon came down the hallway geared up and you looked towards them and you gave a worried look to Ghost .
'' Don't worry , there good people and wont hurt you .''
Ghost said reassuringly .
You gave him a little nod but you kept your guard up .
'' were heading to laswell in a hour and Ghost how was y/n ?.''
He asked while turning towards you .
'' she was good , just fed her .''
Ghost said while looking down at you .
Your  head perked up a bit when you heard your name , you haven't heard your name in a long time and you were a bit surprised you even remember . you stood quiet but you knew not to trust them just yet so you kept your guard up high . Price started walking towards you and Ghost but you backed away a bit , signaling him not to come over.
'' i don't trust you ..''
You said quietly yet sternly to the man.
Price nodded to Ghost and Ghost knew exactly what he ment and he watched as Price left the area . Ghost understood how you felt about not trusting people . He didn't trust anyone around him really and the only person he really trusted was soap .
You curled up in the corner of the couch with the blanket Ghost had wrapped you in and you laid down . you rested for a few more minutes and this gave Ghost a chance to ask Price a question. He got up from the couch making sure not to wake you and he went towards the kitchen to see him there along with Gaz and soap.
'' where are we gonna put the kid ?.''
Ghost asked .
'' well see if we can put her in foster care but we don't know at the moment so for now she stays with us but get her and meet at the humvee .''
Ghost nodded and he walked back to where you were and picked you up carefully . He carried you and made his way down the hallways and he stepped outside . He walked slowly making sure not to make much noise and he made his way to the humvee . He opened the door to the back and he slid in on the right side . his rifle was in the back since he couldn't hold it due to him keeping an eye on you . Price stepped into the passenger seat and soap went in the back next to Ghost while Gaz was driving . Gaz nodded towards the others and he put the key in the humvee and started it up . you jolted awake , not knowing what the loud sound was and you looked around to see you were in a car with three other men you didn't know . you back away into Ghosts side and you hide yourself with his body and arm causing soap to let out a little chuckle . Gaz started up driving and you were soon off . you kept your eyes on the three other men you didn't know about making sure nothing would happen.
'' the one with the cap is Gaz , old man over there is price and this joke is soap.''
Ghost said towards you .
'' and you are ?.''
You spoke up .
'' Ghost .''
He spoke .
You adjusted yourself next to Ghost and sat correctly and looked out the window to see many trees and brush . you looked at it in amazement . you've never seen many things before but this made you feel happy . you tapped Ghost and he turned to you to see a little smile plastered on your face .
'' look at this .''
You said happily , not even caring anymore about the others in the truck you didn't trust yet .
'' i see that .''
He said while looking out the window as well .
It wasn't long before you came across a larger building with fencing around it and many other people there . soldiers roamed the outside with rifles in hand and some others working on humvees . you went through the gate since the soldiers guarding the outside knew that it was them already and they headed inside and parked the humvee. The humvee came to a stop and the engine turned off . you listened to hear men shouting orders and doing their jobs. the doors to the humvee opened and the others stepped out of the vehicle. Ghost jumped out of the vehicle and he picked you up and helped you out of the humvee . You saw men saluting Ghost and the others and you didn't know what it ment but you decided to ask questions later . You entered a building and saw many soldiers standing around talking and you saw rooms . You walked down a hallway and walked for a few minutes but soon you were in front of a door that labeled laswell office . Price knocked on it and you and the others waited but soon were met with the face of a middle aged lady .
'' come in .''
She spoke, letting you and the others in .
Ghost held onto your hand and kept a firm yet gently hold on you . Ghost and the others stood around a table and it had a few files splayed across it .
'' your little friend of yours won't be able to be let into foster care .''
Laswell said sternly .
'' why ?.''
Soap said confused .
'' i did some digging last night and her father f/n  is also  wanted and is part of a group of wanted men. he apparently is working with the russians and smuggling weapons and missiles from us to them .''
Laswell said while opening up a laptop near her and showing them .
'' so what are we doing then ?.''
Gaz said sternly .
'' You have about 4 months until we head out and if you think about it , it's not a lot of time on our hands to try and get information so in a week I will send you out to Russia to go undercover, as a family at a resort . This is where this lil things comes in .''
Laswell spoke as she looked at you .
'' Here are your fake IDs , use these to get into parties and try to find f/n and get close enough to him and place this tracker on him . ''
She said while handing them their fake IDs and trackers .
'' The chopper will be at base at 1300 on friday . clothes will be given to you and we will get this one proper clothes .''
She spoke as she chuckled while looking at you wearing Ghosts shirt .
'' your dismissed .''
She said and the others nodded while walking out  .
you didn't know what was going on but you didn't really care either . you and the others headed out and went back to base . you were back in the humvee and you sat with Ghost and played around with his vest for a bit being bored but happy . you didn't know where this would lead you but you had a week until your deparcher with the others .
