Chapter 5

Tw- mentions of trafficking and abuse and there's some violence but just a tiny bit

There were at least 3 days left till the mission and you didn't even know that it was a mission . You saw Ghost in the kitchen and you walked up to him . you tugged on his pants and you grabbed his attention . He looked down at you and you gave him a little tiny smile .
'' Ghost , can we go outside of the gate please .''
You asked hoping he would say yes .
'' what ya mean ?.''
Ghost asked a bit confused while continuing to stir what he was cooking .
'' i mean like the fence that was around me when we were outside yesterday.''
You said while pointing down the hallway .
You enjoyed the outside . you enjoyed all the things that you saw , the new sights and smells . it was all amazing to you . The little things in life are what made you extremely happy and now that you had people to keep you safe made it even better.
'' Alright we can do that and also inform me that there are clothes for you outside so we can pick those up on the way . Now you don't have to wear a shirt that's up to your ankles . ''
Ghost chuckled .
'' but you have to eat before anything .''
Ghost spoke .
You gave him a small thank you smile and you waited for your food in the kitchen .
Soap and the others were in the living room , you didn't trust the others but since you trusted Ghost you just stood with him . you trusted soap too but the others were around and you didn't trust them so you just stood where you were at .
After a few minutes Ghost handed you a bowl .
'' this is spaghetti , try it .''
He said while handing you a bowl with noodles and sauce .
You took a bite and you melted as always . you gave him a tiny smile and you and you sat in the corner next to the fridge and you ate your food in silence .
'' someones enjoying .''
Soap chuckled while entering the kitchen .
'' ya .''
You said while looking up at him from your spot .
'' Soap watch y/n I'm going to get her package from outside . ''
Ghost said while leaving the kitchen . you looked at him confused and you just stood with soap eating .
'' soap how come you have a funny strip of hair on your hair ?.''
You giggled while setting your bowl down on the floor .
'' it's called a mohawk .''
Soap said while rubbing his head .
You saw Ghost enter the room and set a bag down next to you .
'' ya got clothes now .''
Ghost spoke while opening the bag .
You tilted your head and you opened the bag fully hesitantly and you saw black sweatpants and a few black shirts with a red bandana in it . you took out one of the shirts and it read task force 141 with a skull logo on it . There was one red beanie and one black one along with the other clothes .
'' you want to take a shower lil musty ?.''
Ghost chuckled while picking up the bag and throwing it over his shoulder . you placed your empty bowl on the counter and you nodded to Ghost . Ghost walked you to the shower rooms and he put all your stuff down and he turned on one of the showers for you and handed you some three in one . He walked out of the shower rooms and you followed after to him .
'' can you wait for me outside .''
You asked not wanting to be alone .
'' i will don't worry , then we can go out in the field .''
Ghost said .
'' okay .''
You spoke while heading back .
He walked away past the shower rooms and the locker rooms and he slouched down the wall and he sat , back against the wall sitting and waiting for you .
He left and you were now alone and you stripped from your underwear and your shirt and you looked down at the now healing bruises . you peeled off the bandages and you saw that your cuts were healing slowly . you were a bit sore but it was nothing compared to what you were feeling before . you stepped into the shower and closed the curtain behind you and you used the soap that Ghost gave you and you put some on your hand and you rubbed it in your hair and along your body . you scrubbed your hair and you washed along your body enjoying the feeling . you had been taught to take care of yourself while you were captured . When you were in captivity by your traffickers you met a woman , her name was Shuri . She was also captured and sold into human trafficking . she stood with you and a few other women in the cell as well . she was the one who tried to protect you when in that hell hole . she would often take beatings for you and would give you her food if given . She taught you how to wash yourself and do basic necessary things but it was hard . you often watched as the traffickers beat her on the daily , you had endured many beatings as well and it was hell . they kicked you around and tormented you . One day you were badly beaten and didn't have the strength to move . The traffickers had come into the cell and decided to try and beat you again but Shuri stepped in and she fought back to try and save you . That was a day you would never forget her bravery . she had pushed the trafficker to the floor and started kicking more of them and they started to beat her . They hit her with the blunt end of their guns and once she was out they dragged her out of the cell and that day was the last day you ever saw her . you thought about shuri sometimes and it made you angry but sad . you were angry because they took her away from you and they did the things they did but you were also sad because she did it for you . you didn't know why she did .
You turned off the water and got out of the shower and you dried yourself with a towel that Ghost had left you . you dried yourself off and you walked to the bag and you slipped on some clean underwear and you put on the sweat plants . you put on the short sleeve shirt along with a beanie . you threw on some socks and you left all your things in the bathroom and you walked out of the bathroom and you saw Ghost sitting on the floor waiting for you .

'' can we go outside now ?.''
You asked while grabbing Ghost's hands .
He chuckled and nodded as he grabbed your hand and stood up . you felt so clean and fresh and most of all you felt happy . you walked down the hallways and you watched as you headed to the area you were in before . you walked outside and looked at Ghost confused .
'' i thought we were going out out .''
You said you were confused .
'' i know , we can't go outside fully but i hope this makes up for it .''
He closed the door behind him and threw you a ball . you acted quickie and you smiled while catching the ball . you ran far not caring about the fence and you threw the ball to him . he caught out and he threw it back to you . you lunged and rolled while catching the ball . you looked up and saw the stars and how the moon was nicely lit . you smiled and giggled while getting up . you and him kept playing catch but the one thing you didn't notice was the others watching from the window . They all thought Ghost would make an amazing father but all they needed was for Ghost to see that .

Time skip –

Ghost and you walked inside and held his hand . you walked down the hallway and took off your socks and you headed to the couch . you grabbed your blanket and you wrapped yourself in it . The others had said goodnight and they went to their quarters . you snuggled into your spot on the couch and got comfortable . Ghost stood there and he went to turn off the light but he stopped when he heard you speak up .
'' goodnight ghost .''
You said quietly .
'' goodnight kid .''
Ghost said softly while leaving the room and letting you sleep .
You and the others had fallen asleep and the night was silent . despite your past you now had a growing future but many things would soon turn and crumble but it takes a lot to crush your spirit. Ghost had been very fond of you , he's not very fond of new people but you were an exception from him .
