Chapter 6

Tw- panic attack

You woke up to alarms blaring and you saw soap and the others rush out of their rooms geared up and you had a panicked look on your face . Ghost rushed over to you and picked you up quickly and you saw a worried yet stern look in his eyes and on the others' faces .
'' get to the humvee we need to leaver now !.''
Price shouted .
Ghost grip on you tightened and he started running down the hallway quickly and he rushed to the humvee . The others followed behind him and soap got in the driver's seat and Price got in the front with him . Ghost moved into the humvee and he sat down next to you and he set his rifle off his shoulder . He took out a blanket and he wrapped it around you tightly trying to give you a sense of comfort . kinda like a tight but soft hug . He knew you were frightened and he looked down at you trying to reassure you.
''' i know you are confused but once we are at main base we will find out okay dont worry your safe with us .''
Ghost said softly and reassuringly , hoping to calm your nerves .
Soap turned on the humvee quickly and without hesitation , stepped on the gas and started speeding . you held onto Ghost tightly and you looked out the window and you saw something in the sky and it landed on base . you watched as it landed on base and you heard a loud boom. You watched as it was destroyed and engulfed in flames . gaz muttered something under his breath earning a worried look from soap . your mouth went agape and you watched the first place you saw as a home get destroyed all at once in front of you . soap sped on the dirt roads and he made a sharp turn . you watched , confused and scared not knowing what the fuck was going on .
'' soap hurry the fuck up !.''
Ghost shouted .
'' i'm trying , this piece of shit wont move any faster dammit ! .''
Soap shouted back while coming up on the main base . Ghost radioed someone in as you came upon the gates and the gates opened quickly . soap sped up and you entered base quickly . The gates closed quickly and soap slammed on the brakes causing everyone to jolt forward . Ghost reacted quickly and held onto you making sure you didn't get hurt . soap and the others grabbed their rifles and stepped out of the vehicle quickly and ran into the main building . you heard shouts from other soldiers and you heard the sound of jets zoom by .
Ghost slung his rifle on his back and he picked you up and he got out of the humvee with you and he ran behind the others . Other soldiers passed you and Ghost through the hallways in the building , running and yelling orders at each other . you came up to the door you saw about teo days ago and soon you all barged into lasswell's office . Laswell had many files and laptops open along with a map on the table in front of her .
'' this is urgent and i need you all to pay attention .''
Laswell spoke while pulling up the news on one computer and a file on the other .
'' f/n launched a bioterrorist attack against us and the americans , there is something deadly out there it is some sort of virus .''
Laswell spoke sternly .
'' what do you mean ?.''
Soap asked .
'' There was an outbreak here and in America , the only thing we know is that if someone is infected they become rabid and start attacking people . we found out this is transmitted by biting only .''
She spoke while showing the news .
People ran throughout the streets , screaming and crying for help . They watched as people started to turn and started to attack anyone around them . cars were lit on fire and blood covered the streets . Soap and the others watched in horror as they knew this was going to be some tough never ending shit .
'' so you're telling me there's some zombie shit going around ?.''
Price said confused yet concerned .
'' seems like it , we sent out many soldier throughout the area to look for any surviving civilians but if they seem infected our soldiers were told to take them out without hesitation.''
Laswell spoke .
'' what about y/n ?.''
Gaz spoke while turning to Ghost seeing him holding onto you tightly .
'' You must keep her safe with you , this is going to shit-
Lasswell's words were cut off when the building began to shake . alarms started blaring and your breath quickened . you pushed out of ghosts grasp and he looked at you and the fear was evident in your eyes . a soldier ran into Laswell office and you looked at him . he wore a gas mask and was heavily suited up .
'' maam were under attack , were sending all the troops out it isn't safe here and were moving in.''
The soldier spoke in a hurry .
'' get them out of here , Ghost keep her safe and get the fuck out of here now !.''
Laswell said while grabbing a hand gun from her desk draw and heading out into the hallway . you and the others ran into the hallway and past other soldiers . your adrenaline kept you alert and you ran past soap and next to Ghost . Ghost was surprised at how fast you could run but he made sure you were still keeping up with them . Laswell ran in the opposite direction and you and the others ran outside and heard screaming . you saw a soldier on top of another soldier , the soldier bit into the other soldier's neck causing him to scream and cry out in pain . a few more rabid soldiers went towards other soldiers attacking them as well . You ran as fast as you could back to the humvee but you saw a rabid soldier running at you and it went to tackle you but Ghost shot it with his rifle , smoke coming from the tip . you all kept running and you finally made it back to the humvee . you got inside quickly and so did the others . soap got in the passenger's seat and price got in the driver's seat . you all closed the doors quickly and started up the vehicle and you sped the fuck out of there like no tomorrow . The gates opened and soap started driving out of there . He made a sharp turn and you headed onto the dirt road . soap tried the radio but nothing worked .
'' fuckin lines down theres no service .''
Soap said while slamming the radio down .
'' we have no contact now with laswell and we don't even know if she alive or not .''
Gaz spoke .
'' We head out and try to find shelter for the night which won't be easy . we are on our own , the world is fucked and theres nothing we can do about it .''
Price spoke .
'' Ghost what's happening , my chest feels tight .''
You said while breathing quickly . there was a pounding feeling in your ears and your heart thudded in your chest rapidly . your vision is disfigured and your vision is going a bit blurry . you started to breathe in quick gasps and tears started to well in your eyes . you were having a panic attack .
'' Ghost i want it to stop please .''
You said as tears rolled down your cheeks .
Ghost knew what was happening and he looked at you .
'' hey hey look at me focus on me .''
Ghost said while wiping your tears with his thumb.
'' breath with me .''
He said while breathing in deeply and slowly .
You nodded shakily and you started to breathe with him .
'' there you go , breath just breath .''
He said softly .
You started to breathe normally and your heart beat started to regulate .
'' your okay alright .''
Ghost said while he wrapped one arm around you .
You sniffled and nodded as you buried your face into his side .
All hell's breaking loose and you didn't know what half of what Laswell said ment . it was too much but you knew how to fight . Shuri taught you how to fight as well when you were in captivity . she taught you in secret and only you knew about it . Before she was captured as well she used to tell you her stories about when she used to compete in martial arts tournaments . she never fought back against the traffickers unless they tried to get to you but when she did that , you never saw her again . it was gonna be one crazy ass world now that this is happening but not as if the world wasn't already crazy .
