A/N- ^without any warning *cough cough*
Let me make this clear first: double update on weekends, one update on weekdays unless anything gets in the way, ex. homework, okay?

A announcement from the speakers woke me up. Yep, there was an announcement speaker in my hut and I didn't even bother to notice it either.
"Well if you dummies are just going to sleep in for today, you'd better wake up! A MURDER HAS BEEN COMMITTED! HAHA! BETTER DRAG YOURSELVES OUT OF BED, BECAUSE SOMEONE AMONG YOUR GROUP IS DEAD! WHEN YOU'RE READY, COME AND FIND THAT DEAD BODY!
Well look who's cheerful. Great. So maybe someone couldn't handle telling their truth or doing their dare, but if mine's wasn't all that bad, did some of the papers contain like, really bad stuff that people didn't want to do? I'm not even going to bother thinking about what could've been on them, if someone we're to really fall for that trap.
Lauren knocked on my door once I was almost ready to go out and try to hunt for that dead body.
"Okay good, you're still here."
"What are you doing?" I asked, a bit confused.
"I was gonna go start on checking every hut to see who is missing and who's here. I might as well start with you, and I'd better be quick, people will start to look anytime soon."
"Wait! I want to come!"
"Alright, just follow me, we'll have a conversation while we do this."
"Okay, fine..."
~
I stayed right behind Lauren as we checked all of the remaining huts. Several of them were already empty, probably because they were either out searching already or supposedly dead.
"Well, I guess if nobody else is at their hut, we should probably stop checking on them." I said, shrugging.
"And why is that?" Lauren replied.
"Because I'm bored again, Lauren!"
Lauren rolled her eyes. "Well, you could just search for the dead body, I wouldn't mind check the rest of the huts alone, honestly."
"Alrighty then.." I said as I walked back to my hut to grab the map, since Lauren literally pulled me out of my hut once I volunteered to help her in checking the huts.
I found the map that had the note that welcomed me on the floor next to my bed. I put it in my pocket as I walked outside. I followed where Erin, Katy, and Tara were headed earlier, which was toward a different section of the beach.
Once when I got to the beach, I looked around. Nothing looked strange, no sign of any suspicious evidence sticking out of the sand. Erin and her friends weren't around either.
I sighed as I turned back and walked back to the huts while staring at the map. I decided to go to another set of buildings around the main one. Seemed pretty interesting and I kinda wanted to walk around and explore a little while trying to find the person who's dead.
All of the buildings were mysteriously locked. I peeked into one of them and saw bookshelves, so I assumed it was a library. I just didn't understand why Monogram would keep them locked.
Nobody else was at the first floor of the main building, so I didn't even bother checking the second floor. 'Must be examining the body without me even knowing it.' I thought to myself, rolling my eyes as I headed back to the part of the beach where the party took place, since that was another place where the murder took place. I facepalmed, muttering to myself why the absolute hell I was wasting time getting lost and not finding the body. Why was I even here anyways....
~
Took a while, but finally I found several people, who were at the beach. A person waved at me as I continued along.
I took a long look at the cabana. We didn't use it yesterday for the party, but I couldn't help but attempt to see what's inside. You never know what's behind a closed door. It didn't seem like anybody had searched it yet. I was about to turn the handle when somebody from behind spoke to me.
"Aww, why are you so alone?"
"Mono, what do you want?" I muttered, turning around.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just poking around, trying to make myself entertained while you guys are just searching." Monogram explained, yawning.
"Entertained?"
"I don't know, maybe I might scare a person or two while I'm at it. It's kinda hard to believe you guys still haven't found the dead body yet!"
"What, are we just dummies that can't find a dead corpse in plain sight! Yeah, when there's like, 15 of us, I'm pretty sure something's going to turn up soon."
Monogram pretended to cough. "Ahem, but I think there hasn't been yet, don't you think?"
"Not our fault this island is huge. Whatever happened to being patient?I'm bored all the time and you haven't seen me poking around, stalking people around, have ya?"
Monogram just rolled his eyes.
"Ugh, just leave me alone, there are people trying to do an investigation here!"
"Alright, suit yourself, maybe I'll just pay your friend Lauren a visit."
"Whatever, bug her all you want until she wants you to stop."
Mono disappeared as I finally turned the handle on the door.
~
Well, there was two things I didn't expect a few minutes afterwards.
One, well, I found the body. In the cabana.
Second, well this came on the speaker:
"I bet you guys didn't expect to have TWO dead bodies to deal with, huh?"
